2x4x5 vivosun grow tent
600w air cooled hood, dimmable ballast, running a 600w HPS bulb
4" carbon filter, 4" exhaust fan, 1 clip on 6" fan, 1 oscillating 12" fan
Strains:
Nirvana Auto Jock Horror x1
Nirvana Auto White Widow x1
Nirvana Auto Lemon OG Haze x1
I'm using 2 gallon smart pots filled with Canna coco and using the General Hydroponics trio plus Calimagic. I presoaked the coco with seedling strength nutrient water and soaked the jiffy pellets with regular PH'd water.
I started germinating them in jiffy pellets, which I stuck straight into the smart pots on August 4th. The Jock Horror and WW both sprouted within 3 days, and the Lemon OG sprouted finally on day 6. I only gave them PH'd water for the 1st 2 weeks, then started with the GH trio and Calimagic every other watering at half the recommended dose. I had pics i was going to post from earlier in the grow but they got deleted accidentally. Everything was going smooth until I had to leave for a 4 day weekend, about 4 weeks into the grow. I watered them with nutes the day i left but when i came back the plants were yellowing from the bottom up, and had grown to like 3x the size they were when i left. I read that that is caused by a nitrogen deficiency and upped the calimagic dose for a couple waterings, which seems to have worked. All the new growth was coming in normal green and the yellowing stopped. My only concern now at day 55 is that the leaves that have been on them since I fixed the nitrogen deficiency are not as green as I think they should be, but the flower production hasn't slowed at all so I'm not too worried.
Jock Horror
White Widow
Lemon OG Haze
Thats where we're at. Just watered last night with plain PH'd water and am continuing with every other day watering switching between nutes and plain water. I think the WW has about 2-3 weeks left, the Lemon OG about 3-4, and Im not sure about JH, that one looks like its got time yet
Ill update this Journal weekly at least, and would be glad to hear any suggestions or comments.
