I think im also a fan of the jiffy peat pellets for seed starting.
Ive got a couple of the girls who started in the jiffy, then went into the solo cups and so forth

I was going to try the jiffy pellets or rapid rooters but every said there is a high chance of dampening off or aka the stem gets brown and dies half way up the stem but they also do great if they work fo ya some do some dont

Oh yeah man i had a plant die just like that, i had soaked the jiffy too much, 3 days after the seed popped it looked like it had killed itself lol, it literally fell into pieces cause the stem was overwet, made me sadface.
I live and learn tho, so this last round worked oretty well once i laid off all the water

Yeah that's dampening off its actually a fungi type bacteria or sumn lol but in those lines that grows on top layer of soil when it's over wet n attack the stem and usually it will die half way up the stem it'll get brown im fold in half
