New Grower First grow ever. Will keep updated regularly. Feel free to tag along

Lol I feel ya. I didn't want any unknown variables messing me up so I went with the RO, I just need to water with cal-mag at every watering. Only major difference. If I had an air stone or patience I might be able to use my tap water after letting it aerate for a day or two but I don't and that seems like a lot more work than driving 2 mins and spending 3 dollars on 12 gallons of good water haha
I use a simple inline water filter on my tap water for the chlorine.

Like one of those pur nozzles or whatever? I thought about getting a zero water pitcher and just filtering the water that already goes through the filter in the fridge but again seems like a lot of work haha

No... Not a pur tap filter. It's from Boogie Brew company... Made for gardeners. 60k gallon lifespan.

Ok ok. I'll check it out.

I just found it on Amazon. I might do that... I'll probably end up spending less than $20 on water this grow but going forward that seems legit. What is the tds coming out of that?

I honestly don't know.

Ok thanks! Well I appreciate that and it seems like a viable option. I cut myself off for spending on this grow because I have been dumping money into going indoors with my grow. After this first harvest I'll start shopping again. You know how it goes I'm sure

I use RO water because when I moved here, the filters were already hooked up under the sink. I had some work done under there recently,$$$$$$$. I still bubble because I herd the roots love it. I used to put my regular tap water in 5 gal buckets for 24hrs before I moved, those plants seemed to love it???? Good luck------:jointman:

I set my tapwater out for 24 hours as well.
Between my secret garden and my patio garden its not unusual to find the kitchen counters covered in gallons and gallons of bottles of water.
I like the idea of an airstone or pump to bubble the water. Im halfway tempted to put an airpump in the autopot rez which i think could work beautifully to aerate the h20 and mix up the nutes.
The heat from the pump is the only thing stopping me right now. I think between the ky summer heat coming up and the closet the garden is in, im going to have to be way more vigilant than ive had to be for this round of grows.
Maybe down the road ill do it
