:karma Cloud: of :gthumb: for your grow brother! Lol I've been growing about two and half years and I still am learning daily and improving my game... My grows that I considered fails as was allready said in the thread were some of my most useful grows as the lessons I learned were invaluable and after almost three rounds I think I have this coco thing down though with all the options of coco with drippers etc I'm just beginning....
My first grow I used ffof (ocean Forrest) straight out of the bag, it's known to be a hot soil and not the best to start autos in... As a rule of thumb autos are delicate in their first month... I think it's also strain dependent on how they will fear in a hot soil like that... Just a little reassurance my first grow turned out decent.... Using such large pots be VERY VERY easy on the waterings the first couple of weeks, going to take some time for that pot to dry up a bit... You want the tap root to go searching for the moist areas of the soil giving it time to establish a good root zone... Next round just a suggestion as stated just in the middle of the pot dig out a couple of hand fulls of soil and replace with something very neutral.... Also take it very very easy on the nutes at first, with a mix from the sounds of things will probably not require you to use nutes for like the first month.... Biggest lesson I learned on my first grow was to not keep constantly messing with them... Even now I still find myself checking on them several times a day... Lol... What can I say? I love my little garden.... With the help of AFN we will see you throhgh to a decent harvest! Grow strong and stay stoned!
