Hi Frost Don, welcome to AFN. Your soil sounds like it may be ok in the long run but I am afraid it may be too hot to start out.
5 gal buckets are probably a bit of over-kill as well, 3 gal are more typical.
If you have not already planted the seeds I would put some starter soil that does not contain any nutes (including organic) in the middle of your buckets and plant the seed in that; that way the plant can slowly grow into the richer soil.
Lighting sounds fine for now, you will want to have more red bulbs once your plants are in full bloom.
If you don't already have something to check pH you will want to add that, both a soil probe type like the Accurate 8 and a pH pen to check your water pH. The moisture meter built into the Accurate 8 will help avoid over watering those big pots until the plants are really well established.
