Hey Everyone Today Will Be My First Grow Ever I'm Growing Northernlights And Cream Manderine Hoping For A Hefty Grow. For Soil I'm Using Miricle Grow Natures Care Organic Soil Mixed With Blood And Bone Meal, and dolomite lime. I'm Growing In 5 Gallon Buckets With A lot Of Drainage Holes! Using 2 T5 4Bulb From Sunblaze! I'm using 3 Blues And One Red for Both I'm also Planning to use fox farm trio HELP A BROTHER OUT WITH SOME ADVICE!!!! Thanks a lot

Lots of holes are good but you'll need to add something to your mix for good drainage such as perlite / vermiculite or a cheaper option of corse river sand. There is heaps of threads on here about soil mixes, good luck...no need to be terrified ! enjoy , learn & have fun, good luck man

Hello FD, I am pretty new as well and I am interested in the 5 gallon pots. I have been growing in 3 gallon pots and I have been debating about trying a few 5 gallon pots or trying a bunch of one gallon pots for my next grow and see if there is any difference. Welcome and good luck. I am finally starting to sleep at night without having to get up in middle of the night and check on my babies this is after my 3rd grow. My experience has been that (1) patients is a virtue, (2) less is more when it comes to adding nutes, and (3) make sure you know what your Ph is when you are feeding. It sounds like you have some good genetics and have done your research. You are on your way to some good smoke.

1st off Welcome to AFN..I'm sure you came to the right plase to gether good helpful ideas..I'm fairly new here my self and have already learn'd bunchs..I'm also on my 1st grow ever and it shows...
To get the best help,you will need to give as much info on your setup and ideas of how to plan grow..And don't be shy and ask question..The folk here are awesome

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I did a test with lowryder #2 in one gallon, 3 gallon and 5 gallon pots. The one gallon grew as tall, but not as not much marijuana at the end. The 3 gallon and 5 gallon were bushier and heavier with bud; basically the same. I emptied the pots and the end, and even the one gallon was not root bound. The 5 gallon was too big by far for lowryder #2.

Don't be terrified there's a reason they call this stuff "Weed". Get lots of help and takes things slow. You'll be fine. 
Thank Bro I Appreciate It! I Chose Five Gal Because a Good Friend Of Mines Told Me The Bigger The Pot The Bigger The Pot lol!!!! I'm hoping to grow some dank ass dank. I've been doing a lot of research and this isn't my first first grow I've grown twice before but never took it serious
