New Grower First grow DP StarRyder

and one other thing I'd try differently is giving less water/nutes more frequently, instead of say 1gal or whatever your giving at once, split into 2 watering times like 8-10hrs apart, for me I notice auto's do better with wet/dry cycle and makes them frost up nicely too.

Me personally, depending how far into bloom nutes ya are, i'd try cutting back bloom & more on veg side the watch plants accordingly...you'll see when they ready for bloom nutes, 15+ days or so.. just general guess, your plants will tell ya..:karmacloud::vibes:

Thanks. They recieved two little bloom feeds so far. I will put them back on veg and see what will happen. Keep you posted!

yeah that isn't to far into it, I know jingo is right also about light height so hopefully between all them things it will help ya out...

I hope things will work out nice and I am sure they will. Its my first grow so its gonna be a new record anyway! [emoji12]

Definetly will use smaller pots next time. Even for a dutchman it is hard to manage the waterings with a 23ish L sized pot. The pots stay heavy for ever. Its one big learning curve, that’s for sure. Cheers.

are you using coco or soil? I use only 3gal with coco.. that size pot does seem kinda big, I get rather big plants in 3gal pots I couldn't imagine using anything larger...

led isn't the best at dying out coco or soil, but coco will dry much quicker then any soil mixture out there.. which in return gives ya more feedings & larger plants..plus coco you rarely need run plain water, maybe every 4th-5th feed but really ya never have too. use lighter nute mix and feed less more often.. if ya normally give 1gal split that 2qts twice a day instead and will help your wet/dry and allow ya feed more often..it works ;)

always leave them wanting more, most water until run off.. I add 2qts of ph'ed nute mix or 3qts, depending how much a day they drinking and plan it out...if lights on 18hrs give every 8-9hrs, 20hrs every 10 you get the idea..:pass:

The pots are huge. I bought the 30L (8g) airpots and cut of a part to make them shorter. Funny thing is that I got another Blueberry Bliss auto in a 3L airpot and that one is going great (a little droopy today, she hates mondays). Easy to water, even twice a day.

I think I will go for the 3 or 4 gallon airpots next time. Depending on the strain I will be growing. Do you think it would be possible to grow two plants in a 3 gallon airpot under one MarsHydro300? I think much less heat will be produced that way. Growing two plants is the minimum.

Using the Plagron Light mix soil by the way. Never used coco. I think the AN nutes do well on soil and on coco so maybe I will give coco a gogo alsoso next time. (Halfway my white widow joint by now [emoji574]️[emoji573][emoji930][emoji56])

to be honest, yes technically you can grow a couple, just keep in mind less power to each plant will result in a smaller yield/plants. a mars 300w is really only about 120w true watts, I know you can get away with 50w per plant but the more the better a 300w mars shouldnt be having any heat issues really, what size tent you have? I'm running 600w Meizhi reflector led true watt approx 287w, a cheap burple chinese 300w led that is 156w true watts, plus I use 430w red sodium w400 w ballast on super lumens & also 150w hps and have side lighting led & cfl also if needed. I have 4x4 tent though, right now i'm running closed system since I'm using co2 this grow..I never really have temp issues(summer only), I have a good 6" extraction fan & scrubber, plenty of air movement inside tent (several 6" fans, tower fan,etc..)

I think single plant under that light will give ya better results since the spread(footprint) of that light isn't much more then a single plant will get anyways.. I think spread(footprint) on that light is 1.5ft X 2ft at best for flowering plants..
