New Grower First grow DP StarRyder

Day 34. Looks like the stretch finaly begins. Hoping for another 20 cm. That would fill out my growbox nicely.

Switched to bloom nutes yesterday and gave them a good 0,75L of it. That's what they drink in 24 hours. I skipped the halfway flush. When pots are soaked to the max it takes a good 48 hours to completely dry out again and I think keeping the pots wet that long is not a good thing. I will run some extra water trough the pots when the end is near or extend that period with a couple of days.

Have a nice weekend!!

Day 37
A little bit of growth but not as much as I hoped for. Buds are forming well. The right one still remains very bushy. Without more growth there is not much I can do against it. Tips are welcome.

Lefty, now on the right site

Looks like you have a little heat or light stress going on. It's more pronounced on your taller plant so it's probably light stress. It's evident by the Sawtooth edges pointing up on your leaves. With LEDs you can control the height by raising and lowering your LEDs. I suspect your plants and remained shorter because the light may have been a bit too close.

If you could raise your light up a bit and then put something under that second plant to raise it up so that both plants have level canopies you would be better off.

Hey, did you happen to already switch to bloom nutrients or still on veg? Just curious...

yeah I see little heat stress also.. but looks like getting bloom nutes little early...

I noticed you switched to bloom nutes when stretch started? I believe you should of waited until stretch finished or about half way through before switching.. that is about when I make switch to bloom nutes, not as soon as stretch starts, thats when ya need the veg nutes the most for vertical growth IMO..Plus there is transition part before fully going bloom nutes..

Thanks @jingo and @Unique. I just raised the lights and evened the canopy with a couple of yellow papers under the pot. Lights are now 42 cm above the canopy. I’ve definetly got some heat issues to. Hope thats solved by raising the lights. Temps were around 30 on soillevel.

Yes, unfortunatly I did allready introduced her to bloom nutes. I think it was on day 32. Is it wise to switch back to veg nutes or shall I just leave them on bloom and make (and wish) the best of it?

I will use the tips and tricks in future grows.

Cheers guys.

Me personally, depending how far into bloom nutes ya are, i'd try cutting back bloom & more on veg side the watch plants accordingly...you'll see when they ready for bloom nutes, 15+ days or so.. just general guess, your plants will tell ya..:karmacloud::vibes:

Yeah I noticed the nutes where switched before I started to read that you had switched them over, thats a common problem for new growers.. I done it myself when I first started auto's, it's a learning process ;)
