Outdoor First grow - Crystal Candy autos

Afternoon all :toke:

I just realized i've not posted the pics i took last week, so here they are :

CC1 (on the left) and CC2.

CC1 main cola, you can see this plant is heat-stressed because at the top a lot of new pistils are growing.

Closer look at a bud of CC1

CC2 Main cola. This plant hasn't been as affected by the heat as CC1, hence less foxtails. As a result it looks more harvest ready to me, despite being a week younger.

Closer look at a CC2 bud. There's some new pistils but not as many as CC1.

CC1 came down yesterday at day 67, and CC2 is now on day 60. I might chop it at the weekend depending on how the trichomes look, i'll see

I couldn't resist weighing CC1 when it was all trimmed etc, and it looks like i'm in for a half-decent haul as it weighed in at 452g. A wise man told me to expect 75% less when dry but, conservatively, that would still put yield somewhere in the region of 3.5oz which i'm more than happy about. I said to myself when i started growing these Crystal Candys if i get an ounce of dry bud off each i'd be pleased with it being my first grow in years, first time growing autos and first outdoor grow.

I'll take some more pics today and put them up later or tomorrow

:note:
WooooHoooooo bro....and Noooiiice haha:worship::worship::worship::worship:....Well done...can't wait to see the Green Poison grow:vibe::vibe::vibe::vibe::vibe:

Say hello to my little friend!

No problem getting this girl to sprout, used the same method i detailed earlier in this grow journal. I only put her in the plug on Sunday evening and she had a lovely long white root on her, probably 3 inches or so long. :joy:

Loving @Sweet Seeds genetics so far, had some really strong, vigorous seedlings pop out!

Update 12-08-2018

Day 64 for CC2 and she is down and hanging to dry. Not as much weight as CC1 (376g/13.4oz so should be around 2.5-3oz dry) but still more than happy with it, and to be fair these buds look better overall than the CC1 buds, more frosting, less foxtails, more amber trichs etc so i think that about evens it out.

CC1 is all in jars and curing now, final weigh in was 117g or 4.2oz dry, can't grumble at that! :woohoo1:I must say it really reeks now though, more like very ripe fruit than the wonderful smell it had while alive. Maybe that will improve with more curing. It's not gonna stop me smoking it though, in fact i already had a few joints and its a pretty nice smoke :smoking:

I think it dried a tad on the fast side though (at 4 days) so i left more stalk and leaves on this time in an effort to prolong that a bit, might have to do a little dry trim as well. I guess perfecting this side of cannabis cultivation is partly trial and error until you've done a couple of harvests and learned how plants dry in your own particular environment. I've got notes for next time anyway.

I think that pretty much concludes this journal, as far as the auto plants are concerned at least. I'll keep it going with semi-regular (probably weekly) updates on the Liberty Haze and Green Poison photos i have growing as well, but to be honest there's not much going on with the Liberty Haze at the moment and the Green Poison is still just a seedling so i doubt there will be many interesting picture opportunities for a month or more, when they start to flower. So don't expect too much excitement!

Thanks to everyone who's stopped by over the course of this grow and shown an interest in it, i really appreciate it :worship::bighug:

Thanks also to @Sweet Seeds for producing such a good strain. It made my first grow much easier than i expected it to be, i really didn't have to do much outside feed and water the plants and i can honestly recommend this strain to new growers and, of course, seasoned growers too!
