New Grower First Grow Auto PP (Power Plant)

Day 45

I watered her today.
inside pH: 6.5
runoff pH : 4

the runoff could be even more lower because my test kit is between 4-8.5.

what does it mean?

EDIT: i flush her with more water the runoff now is 5.

I'll try my best to make it easier.

- It means your test kit is worthless as a method of testing PH.

- Your PH is wildly out of range for nute uptake which it why it looks half dead.

- "If" you started with the soil in the picture (post number 48) with the specifications on the back - the PH was 3.7 - 4.3.

- Soil nute uptake is 6.0-6.5ish - so the soil is Milesssss out - like wasing your face in an acid bath (not comfy!)

I'm amazed it live 30 days.

I saw someone asking about your nutes - i'm not gonna go through the thread again, but the info wasn't good enough either.

What to do next time

Buy a digital PH meter.
Buy some canna friendly pre-made soil. Biobizz Loghtmix, Plagron Lightmix, Canna Terra ... something reiable.

From there - day 30 to harvest will be a breeze. If you check your PH and dont overfeed.

hope this helps

yes i do use the soil that in the picture at post 48#.

what does the soil pH mean? that soil cant go up from 4.7 and down from 3.7?
I'm realy confused right now, perhaps you could tell me a little about soil?

i want to be more ready for the next one, I would appreciate it.

what do you think about this lady? will she survive? or should i give up?

I think you should buy some new soil and start a new seed.

what does the soil pH mean? that soil cant go up from 4.7 and down from 3.7?

PH is measure of acidity or alcalinity. Normal tap water is around/between 7.0 to 8.0 PH (it varies)

Your Soil PH was between 3.7 and 4.3 ... very acidic.

Cannabis likes to grow in soil between 6.0 - 6.5

You can take all of the above statements as Fact.

Here's the reason why a cannabis plant wont grow in your soil.

Nutirent Uptake.
In order for a plant to grow .. it needs to be able to eat.... it only likes eating certain elements (like nitrogen for example) at a certain PH

so the soil has to be in a "Nutrient Uptake Range" so that plant can eat from it.

Here's a confusing chart to show you what i mean about nutirent uptake

(look at the right hand 2 bars ... for soil)

I've got plenty more of these charts

,,, but for now .- you can take it as law that if you keep your soil PH range between 6.0-6.5 ... you'll be doing much better than your current grow.

I'll find you some pictures of decent store bought soil for growing cannabis in :) (i'll come back and edit them in)

Cheap "home depot style" soil (last choice for me) - need to mix with perlite to get it light. (cannabis loves light and airy soil)

Ganj,
Make a plan. Give it support(equipment, soil, nutes). Can't WAIT to see you SUCCEED!

I'm a newbie too! But BEFORE I popped that expensive seed into anything...I had a PLAN!

Piss poor preparation provides piss poor performance.

Edit; I think thats an army training maxim.
JUst remembered, its all the P`s,2nd edit due to being stoned.
