Phenomenal DH22. Looks like your really putting your training skill to good use.

Everyone asks about my light schedule and it's more or less a guess depending on the space the plants are in and how much light they are under. If I was doing 1 cob and 1 plant I'd go 24/0 as the one cob is not really over powering the plant. If I had 2 cobs and 1 plant I'd drop the hours down to 18/6. In summer I don't care what the light situation is I go 19/5 and my off hours are always 12pm-5pm the hottest time of the day. This also works to our benefit in winter too as lights out is best during the warmest part of the day.

I haven't done it on paper even though I should but more or less figured the wattage divided by the hours of light. Like dli or daily light integral but my own version of what's needed and not. Sorry to blow up your thread but I have been asked this quite often why 19/5 lol.

Thanks smo that means a lot I'm trying to make my canopy as even as possible so my cobs can penetrate all levels of growth. But no that makes perfect sense I'll probably leave my 20/4 schedule for now and change later if need be. But no I love when you come in and drop your cob knowledge it's truly appreciated.

Love hearing about an even canopy. If I had the time and space to do a side by side with a trained plant vs budsicle plant I'd bet the trained plant would yield 50% more. More light across the entire plant vs more light on a top cola. On cobshop I posted the par of the AutoCob. At 12" is super high while 24" it's more reasonable. I haven't tried it at 36 but I'm sure it's low. Now using those numbers on a trained plant you give just about the entire plant and every bud an even amount of light that you decide. while and untrained plant you can't. The top cola may be getting say 500 umoles while the rest of the plant is getting 200 umoles.

Super excited to see how the 3bears comes out. It's looking like a high yielding plant.

That makes perfect sense. You put science to a theory I had in my head even canopy equals more quantity of quality buds. Thanks smo for the info. I want to get my hands on some of the bigger meph strains to see what I can do with them. My next cycle I'm running Alien vs Triangle hopefully I can make a monster out of her.
