Hello!
A slight description and a simple question at the end:
First time grow, 11L smartpots, regular potting soil and organic Bio-Grow nutes at lower than advised dosage and a bit of molasses, under 4 different household lamps (3 CFL's totaling 70W and a 3-watt LED), with no reflective coating.
It gets some outside sun when I am able to put it out (cause I believe it is stronger than my indoor lighting), which is not regular since sometimes it goes out before sunrise therefore gets some darkness. Otherwise, it gets 24/0 indoors.
Due to some restrictions, I am not able to do much better during this time, but it seems to be growing well and I am enjoying this first time experiment.

I am LSTing it to keep it low and even (trying to do the circular pattern), sometimes simply moving leaves around to make sure potential budsites get full lighting.

It's about a month old and is now showing tiny pistils.

My question: Due to the LST, some leaves are covering others and almost touching them. Sometimes the covered leaves have water on them, probably due to being covered and unable to prespirate normally. Should I trim those leaves (since they don't get much light, water on them might cause light burning and mold, and they might be a waste of plant energy) or should I leave them so that they can still collect a small amount of light? If I should trim, is it better to trim the whole leaf or only it's fingers that are covered?

Should I generally be doing more trimming of larger leaves that are shadowing others? Not sure since it's a short lifespan auto..

The fisrt picture shows the "wetting" of a leaf that I have uncovered to show it (notice also the half-covered finger to it's right is also wet).
The other pic is for your interest and any other advices if you think of them. I trimmed the middle leaf so that it doesn't shadow a potential bud site.

Any help appreciated. Thank you very much!

If this flower will be out, no lst is needed, when is in, just increase airflow in ur grow room.
:-)

Water under some leaves happens all the time. No big deal. You do not need to cut leaves because of that, in fact your plant needs no trimming at all. Maybe a little more airflow and that is all.
