Indoor First Grow Attempt: 250w Dresser Stealth Soil Grow

Hey guys, should I put the lights to 20/4 then 18/6 when I turn the HPS on? The extra 2 hours of lights on might help em out. If I did do that would it be a problem to go back to 18/6 at flower?

:howdy: i keep mine on 18/6 to keep some cost down,you can but it on 20/4 as well,but i wont go back to 18/6 only 12/12 if she did not flower anyway they looking good

Got my autos on 24hr led for the first month.
Switching to 18/6 after the first month.
Should I switch earlier?
Do they need brother darkness for any special reason?

The Himalaya Blue Diesels growing pretty slow, its 2nd set of leaves were almost touching soil. Figured she might have gotten too much water last watering so I just misted her and the top layer of soil. Afgan ryders growing great it seems, I really hope she autos. She also smells already, when touched or rubbed she smells great. Blue Diesels not really giving off any type of scent yet.

I think around the 20th I'm going to start some of the organic veg nutes, quarter dose, after 2 weeks from sprout.. sound good? Want some more structure to em, instead of the slowness.

Your plants are coming along nicely. I use BioBizz organic products for my plants. BioBizz FishMix, Heaven, and BioGrow for Veg and then BioBloom and TopMax in Flower. I never change my light schedule from 18/6 but I always wondered if going longer will really make any difference or not. Maybe my next grow I will increase the time.

My plant took off yesterday growing after that first Veg/Flower nute feeding. I am really happy with this bushy pheno that is going now.

Hey bro how ya doing???I see things r alittle slow, i added nutes to make my ppm 250-300 after 8 days from seed but i had 3 sets of leaves, under my 600w quatum ballast and cool tube but i had the ballast dialed back to 300w for 3 weeks then to 450w for most of the grow due to the hot waether and no A/C...I had 6 autos going and gonna get over 8 oz on my first grow....Waiting on 1 to finish(dinafems haze auto) as it didnt start flowering till day 40-50 cant really remember as today is like day 95+ and about a week left started mollasses today...So if ur 1 doesnt auto right away give it a minute or throw it outside if ur impaitent(lol)..I would put them under ur HPS bro and watch things pick up...

Thanks Yumyum, you think the 250w hps will get em growing quicker? The last thing I need is stretching, maybe I can LST them ealier or something? Dunno

NOOOOOO...Man some people...I would get them under ur 250 and they shouldnt stretch to bad no more than anything else..They will only stretch if light is to far away...Keep it about 6inches away if u can and they shouldnt stretch....I mean i started mine and they were 3plus ft away and ended up at there breeders hieght..
