Indoor First Grow Attempt: 250w Dresser Stealth Soil Grow

Heres some pictures of the hash and Himalaya Blue Diesel. The HBD has a weird water drop coming out of a leaf I trimmed a few days earlier. It was so weird, when I touched it and tasted it, I was in heaven. Tastes just like it smells, but stronger. Whats that about? If that was a drink, I would buy a few a day.

As far as the hash, I made 2 batches. First batch I used all the sugar leaves and stems and the outcome is whats on the brown pyrex plate, did 2 washes but both each with fresh leaves/stems. The 2nd batch I didnt take pictures because the coffee filter broke and some leaves fell in the other pyrex plate, I used the left overs from the 2 first washes and shook out the good stuff stuck in the jar. I took the leaves out of the plate on the spot but it just isn't great. First batch is awesome and hard, soft inside. Started green, and the more I scraped and rolled together, and as time went by and it dried completely, it got brownish black. When opened or spread apart, its a sticky gold mess. 2nd batch is just soft and sticky on the outside, taste alright though. Just doesn't burn, taste, or hit like the first batch. Oh, the total weight was only .9 grams combined, but only like .4-.5 is left! Been kushed for 2 days straight. : ) Even though they hermied, the smoke is pretty killer (even with barely any cure), and the seeds are all premature and super tiny (most all brown, green, real soft and small.). Almost completely unnoticeable when grinded. The smell is getting more intense the longer into curing (thhank god) glad about that.

Was hoping to chop the HBD by tomorrow, but still barely any amber trichs whatsoever. Maybe Tuesday when the soils almost bone dry I'll chop and dry for a few days and cure. How do you guys cure? Whats the fool-proof technique? My hygrometer wont fit in the jars so Ive been worried a little. Have been keeping track of dry weights even though I cut those branches early. The AKR didn't do so great (smokes great), but Im hoping this last of the HBD plant produces some nice nugs.

How do you guys cure? Whats the fool-proof technique? My hygrometer wont fit in the jars so Ive been worried a little.

I suggest getting some bigger jars and following Buddha's method: AutoFlower Network - Forum Home - The time we all work so hard for.

After all this time and effort, why screw around and risk ruining your harvest? I bought a case of the big Mason jars for $10, or you can find glass storage jars at most places that sell kitchen accessories:

I dont know if its Iso or Qwiso, I dont even know if its meant to be hash or hash oil !!! Usually when I get hash, its either black or brown with a golden brown inside, and its always like a little brick & expensive. But heres how I made it, just like the last hash run: Cut up the stems, and sugar leaves to the point they are pretty fine and broken down, then added 91% isoproprly to just cover the trims, and shook like a maniac for 25-30 seconds. (Last hash run I shook for 40-45 seconds, and it tasted like crap) I then poured into 1 cheap coffee filter and got everything on the brown pyrex baking plate. I then ran that leftovers and used trims for a second wash that I was just going to give to my brother, lol, which tastes fine but is kind of sticky and not hard like the 1st wash. I got .9 combined total. Gets you very sleepy and blazed. I call em "hash naps", smoke a lot and I'll be knocked out nicely ZzzzZZZzzZZ.

Have you read the method I posted elsewhere on the forum for curing?
It does require being able to place a hygrometer in with your harvest.
There's also water curing.
And also freezer curing too.

Thanks man! I have seen that one, but no hygro. Still looking for the freezer one. Look interesting.

My Basic 4-Week Cure:

Week 1:
Open the jars 3-4 times per day for 10 minutes to exchange the "damp" air (inside the jar) for some dry (fresh) air from outside the jar. This is called "burping". Re-arrange the buds to inspect for any mold or mildew.

Week 2:
Open the jars once per day every other day for 10 minutes. Inspect buds.

Week 3:
Open the jar to burp twice during the entire week. I open it the first time 4 days after the last burp from week 2, then I open it again on day 7. Inspect nugs!

Week 4:
Do NOT open the jar for the entire week. on day 7 open for possibly the final burping. Inspect the bud, if it seems good and cured its ready for smoking or what ever. If its not up to par yet repeat "Week 4" for a 5th week or until they meet your liking.

My Personal Stash Cure:
I do the above basic cure for all of my harvest but 20-25% of my harvest I put into a LONG cure which is good after 3 months to start using from and gets better with each jar until the final nug is smoked. The longer the bud is curing the better the smoke will be and generally my last jar is cured for 8-10 months depending on harvested amount and frequency of use. the key to this is to keep light away from the buds and to keep the jars shut until being used and even then don't leave the bud jar your smoking from open for too long cause oxygen degrades the THC.

^^ Found this late last night after searching, think I'm going to stick to it or look for those half gallon mason jars.

Cut the HBD today, she looked like she wanted to come down even though she lacked alot of amber trichomes. She was supposed to be cut on the 9th says the breeder, but she just came down today.

I truly wish I didn't cut those pre-harvest branches off because they really did add some weight in the 7-10 days I left them alone to "finish". But here she is:

And a pic of some scissor "scrape" hash and the last of the hash from the last batch, and some himalaya blue diesel. Was a wonderful bong pack.

The black "potassium" looking dots changed to and orange-ish red within the past 2 days! Now looks like cal/mag or something? What the hecks up with her? Leaves still getting taken over, and looking bad. Rough feeling, brittle tips. Shes still getting thicker pistils and calyxes though.. despite the horrible looking leaves. What do I do? Last watering was 2 days ago and was only pHed filtered water.

It seems on all my grows my plants get something seriously wrong with them but still produce pretty great smoke?​

Heres some pictures of the last of the 2 week cured Blue Diesel I've been smoking. And the hash I made yesterday. And some pictures of the dried Himalaya Blue Diesel that were just placed in the jars tonight. The AKR thank god tightened up, nugs got denser. I've been trying to let her cure for 4 weeks without touching her and I've been good so far. They smell awesome.
