yeah smoking the herm wont really hurt you. its just gonna pollinate itself so your gonna have a ton of hermie seeds in it. as for the onyx herming because the other one did is unlikely. stress causes them to hermie and depending on how they were bred is how succeptable they are to herming. if that makes sense. the onyx is one of stitches strains. very reliable breeder. i would be very suprised if it hermied on you.

looking nice bro that RRF is gonna br big and chunky

and that akrunner is sweet how long are u gonna leave it ?
have u looked at thc readyness

High , from what i can see , you don't water those pots enough , the plants tend to lower their branches/leafs when they don't have enough water , you might also have some heat problems , the optimal ones are between 24 and 28 degrees celsius , if you can grab some biobizz all-mix soil or some fox farm would help ya so much. That soil of yours doesn't seem friendly , it looks like it's dead :)) joking , i'm high.Try getting some 11 l pots , should be enough for an AF. i got 2x 250 w of course in a bigger area but doesn't matter if you know how to control your heat problems because the hps does give some heat , try getting an humidificator or a small extractor , you'll be fine!in that small space you could get a normal seed , a  one and train it! supercrop it , scrog it and trust me , you will never grow many plants. Cheers bud , hope i helped out.Keep it Green

Had heat problems past week, only 2 days thought, hit 84 degrees. The soil is Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Grow bags are each about 1.6-1.8 and the Onyx is in about a 2.2 gal grow bag. Humidifer is on the shopping list, but they're too large for the dresser. Looking for one that I dont have to fill up so often. thanks

I have been following along quietly for awhile as I am not very good and correcting issues with a plant once they start messing up. Heat is not your issue. 84 degrees is not hot and I bring my temps up into the mid 90's regularly when using co2. My box normally runs in the low 80's as I suspect most peoples do. If I were you I would try 2 things on your next grow.

1) Change your soil to another type as yours looked really compressed and solid in some of your past photos. I would at least add some more perlite to the mix. I recommend Humbolt County soil or ProMix BX as my personal favorites.

2) Try a different container like a air pot or a regular pot. The bags make me wonder what happens to the roots when you move them around and if that freaks the root system out with movements in the soil. Also you probably dont want to expose your root system to air as that can shock the plants pretty bad.

Did you ever get your ph meter yet? That would be a great investment over the drops method.

Your first grow really didnt go that bad and you are almost done so it cant be considered a failure as any weed is better than no weed. My first grow went kinda like yours to the point I didnt even want to take any pictures as I felt really that I messed them up myself and didnt think it was just part of the learning process. Runts and stunts will always happen as well as I still get them from time to time so dont let this grow get you down as you will be learning more as you go. Plants are a hard thing to figure especially when all the charts telling you whats wrong arent photos but drawn pictures so it makes it hard to really look and see what the problem is and diagnose.

Every grow I still learn something new and every plant acts a little different than others so just keep growing and you will get it soon. :)

Hey Scott!!!

Definitely need extra perlite in the Fox Farms soil, I think it sat for too long in the hydro shop and is old or just doesn't air out too nicely. And yep, the grow bags suck in my case! I need some 2 gallon plastic nursery pots or something. I move them around too much, and bags aren't sturdy enough. And I did not get the meter yet, still looking and waiting on some money. I want a pretty nice reliable one if I do end up getting one soon. As far as the heat, when it gets above 83-85 max, the leaves start deforming and tips shrivel! In my case with the small space and very bad low humidity it sure bothers them! And I need to check up on the party cup grows, hows it coming??

Hows the Onyx look? The inner patches are starting to become a lighter shade of green every day it seems. And a couple rust spots on 2 leaves. Thats about all the bad I see. Oh, and a messed up leaf tip which I think got too close to the light when we got hit with heat again and the dresser got up to 83-84 degrees.

The others are starting to purple at the tops, not sure its a healthy purple, but shes being cut soon anyway. (Still only spotted a couple amber trichomes on the HBD, rest are barely cloudy). The AKR, the smallest and worst looking one, has the best smell and taste when licking sticky fingers. I look forward to her the most!

Oh and the rubbing alcohol I got today, its the right one right? Highest I could find was this 91% bottle. And a jar of some nastyyy leaves I cut off the HBD and a couple off the AKR, along with some stems from bud I've been smoking since the first grow started. Plan on running a batch with that, and then running a batch when I chop the girls. We'll see, still dont want to use coffee filters but its all I got for now.
