Indoor First Grow Attempt: 250w Dresser Stealth Soil Grow

What day are they at? if they are ending their cycle they will start to show changes in colours on the leafs, its like a tree in fall time they start to change due to the season coming to an end, id say if they are around 50 days or older which they look close dont worry they are just showing signs off fall, they do look nice. out of all the pics on this forum they look alot shorter than some peoples BHD i see one of the pics is the AKR and auto'd good to see it worked for you keep it up cant wait for smoke report and yield.

Hey alkoholic, How do you like the Sun System 2? I hate it. The enclosed ballast makes my life hell. Other than that it fits nicely in the dresser kind of. I just saw your visitor message about your lab, thats very very sad man. At least hes still with you, but at 9 years old with 3 legs, it must be tough on you and him. Give him a bone and a scratch behind his ears for me, take care dude.

They are about at 5 weeks of flowering and about 7 weeks total since they popped above soil (both popped on the 5-6 of July and threw pistils out on the 19-21 of July). So they still have some time left I think. AKR says 64 days of flowering, and HBD says 63 days from seedling to harvest. They have more time left than I thought : /



They are due for a watering tonight or tomorrow, should I be hitting them with tablespoon of epsom salts? How do I help them and the browning/oranging? Edit: just checked on them and the leafs are like sand paper, and fragile. The tips will fall right off, and the tops feel hard as a rock. Not even squishy or moist at all, hard as a rock. They're deteriorating past week or so, I cant pin point what it is and how to cure it.

WOW, just watered them and they are about dead. The leaves all will break in my hand. The tops look fine and all, but I can tell both plants are goners I think. The AKR is even worse than the HBD which is sad because its starting to get some purple hues on the main middle top cola and smells 10x better than the HBD.

Anything I can do? A FLush??

i would flush them till they are done if they are that far gone and starting to break apart in your hand deffinetly means theres something wrong, its a shame cause they are almost done i counted the days and your around day 57 all together so they are nearing the end of their cycle and should be getting flushed soon anyways. im sure you will still have some decent smoke

oh ya and as for the sunsystem 2 ive been using it for about 3-4 years now and have seen temps fluctuate sometimes but my house is always cold all year even in the winter mainly because im cheap and dont use the heat lol plus i dont use the cooling system for it, never tried it, but to answer your question i do like it but have been thinking of doing some modifications to it, get some heat resistent cord and rewire it up outside of the box im sure the temps would be dead on.

Here they are as of this morning. The HBD drank all most all the water in a day and a half and felt verrry light. Gave her a little more, barely any, because I guess I should be flushing soon huh? The AKR is very very young still, pistils still all white besides the main cola and theres not many orange.

They are both purple-ing at only the top main cola, whats this mean? My temps are definitely not under 60 so why are they purple-ing?

I took a tiny popcorn bud from the bottom of the HBD, quick dried it using the toaster technique, it sucked. Well I cant complain, I'm high but hardly, like a 3.5 out 10 high. Taste horrid. First time ever touching or ripping a bud off the plant.. besides the calyxyes which actually definitely are forming seeds inside. Definitely hermied. Little hard premature beans in the ones I just smoked.

First grow failed. And the Onyx looks good... but in order to run the 250 watter I need my window air conditioner on 18 hours a day along with the dresser. It needs to be under 70 in the room in order for the dresser to run under 81 degrees. Everyone in the neighborhood has already taken their window air conditioners out... so I don't know what the hell to do because my windows blacked out and the AC is running a lot.. not looking good.

i think the best thing to do get a close up shot and check trics post a shot if ya can

wow did thewy take a turn for the worst, they dont look to happy you should have flushed them a week ago to try and clear up the nute prob looks like they are locked out, as for the smoke report on the little popcorn nug they will never taste good or get you that buzzed if you quick dry it, so you say its a 3.5/10 wait till its finished and dried and cured and im sure it will be much better.
as for the airconditioner what i would do is take the sunsystem apart get some good heat resist wire and rewire the ballast outside of the grow box and you should be able to take the airconditioner out

Hey Asi, I checked the trichs with the 60x scope and theyre ALL clear. Barely saw one that was cloudy or even close to it. The breeders say 63 days from seedling to harvest, which would be September 6th, but they both look like somethings wrong. The Afgan kush Ryder has a 64 day flowering time so it has a lot of time left (September 17-20). Still has huge white pistils and not even a lot of budding going on thats why Im worried why it looks like crap and the leaves are cracking off.

I should do that, but the ballast and those thick weird looking wires in there scare the shit out of me. I was electrocuted too many times when I was younger. In the winter, and open window may keep the room cold, but I sleep in there and already freeze my ass off with the air conditioner set to 66 degrees sometimes even lower. Do you have a thread or pictures alkoholic? Whats your set up look like? Im thinkin about how the hell you keep the temps under 80 with that light and no AC!

Well, even though they definitely hermied it will be something to smoke and make some hash with. I hope the Onyx doesnt hermie because of the others, but I think I'm safe. Any one know if thats possible?

I flushed each of the Afgan Kush Ryder and Himalaya Blue Diesel with 3-4 gallons of Brita filtered tap water from the faucet then flushed them each with 2 gallons pHed 6.5-6.6 water after. They dont look good. The HBD has purple/pink dotted leaves.. weird huh? The Onyx has a weird leaf which is fine I'm guessing, but whats weird is the clear stuff wrapped around the bottom stem. I peeled some off and cut it with a scissors because it would not rip off!
