New Grower First grow and new to the network...

When I see this I just want to get set up with a full hydro system and just do away with organic soil growing but I cannot afford it yet. One day now my jars are filling I can reinvest my savings In something similar.

Crazy plants!

@Mavadines I ordered a pair of 64 oz Ball mason jars. Not convinced I’ll need more than that. I’d love to be wrong.

@Time Ha ha! Thanks.

@Medimadness When you decide to go hydro, do it on a budget, you can get all the pieces separately VERY cheaply.

I second them! You're gonna need more jars for suuuuure. You're gonna be swimming in it and PLENTY to make extract and edibles.

Yeah I'm actually starting draw out a plan now for a largely homemade system. I mean I was thinking earlier that we learn about hydroponic systems in college but get no practical experience which gets on my nerves when a lot of the developed world is starting to move into aeroponic and hydroponic skyrise farms for more than just Mary and think I would get a lot more benefit from learning how to build and maintain a good hydro system.

Ive said it a hundred times that I love soil but I've been getting muddy since I can remember and I'm obviously comfortable with it because after a couple plants I already feel ready for more, and since you can still be organic in a hydro system I think i can make it work without compromising my desire to remain organic!

I guess the only things I can't procure for it from my shed are pumps and valves, and the other more specialist items I cba to list.

Sometimes you just need to see a peer have good results just to give you that kick in the ass to experiment! Thanks for the foot lol

Still gonna give coco a bash in that upcoming battle?

I ordered a RO filter so I can easily get decent water to my ladies. Long overdue. As soon as GG harvests the tents are going down to the basement, I’m working on that space.

Speaking of harvests I think I’m seeing a bit more cloudy today, still time to go though.

Looks awesome!
Do you have a microscope or something that'll get you in close like this:

Being able to get in super close like that makes it a lot easier to judge when to chop.
