New Grower First ever grow with what I have on hand

Hey Time! You might still need more nitrogen I had to give mine another half dose probably going to just keep using the grow fert every other water sense it has the same stuff as flower fert plus n not sure about yours though. I would just add more unless the tips of leaves get burned you don't want it to run out during the tale end when its ph'd water only.

Your at the stage where she is gonna swell, from the looks of her looks like some nice size buds you can tell with the bud at the v part of the branch how far out it is from the main middle stalk mine filled out from the center to that bud and then swelled up even more.

Totally normal to worry when leaves start falling off your plant luckily you caught it in time she will be fine.

Thanks bud.

Unless the plant tells me different I'll feed the same every watering right up to harvest.

I thought she stalled on me, just looking at her day by day. Couldn't see much change. But after looking at the before and after pics it looks like she's still trucking along.

Hey time forgot to mention you know you can grow that photo seed in that area too? Just grow to half of the size you want it in veg and then start the flowering something I didn't know till recently.

Yep, I can short veg her. If I take the shelf out and put hooks in the ceiling for lights in the closet, I have eight feet to work with. :smoking:

@Time Same thing happened to me at that stage seems like forever now you will see her fatten up real quick also nitrogen deficiency can cause flowering to be slower even lessen yield but I don't think ours was that bad maybe slowed it but I can tell you once I started using the grow fert with n on the two biggest they are packing on buds really quick and quicker than the oldest did in flower too the one bigger one is pretty much caught up to that one I took a sample from in terms of size of buds.

Crap. :crying:

Well, this is gonna hurt. I misdiagnosed the yellowing leaves and have a bigger problem. Classic new grower mistake,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,over watered. :help:

I'm surprised, a little, that I'd do that this late in the game but it is what it is. Plant isn't looking great. Not overly dying but on it's way. She's sick.

The plan is to do nothing for now till she dries out. I'll give her a few days. As late as it is, I won't be transplanting or anything. I'm just gonna keep her alive to make what bud she can. After she dries some, I'll water with peroxide to get some O2 to the roots and kill any root rot. I'm open to other suggestions, of course.

My only goal was to end with a healthy plant so I'm calling the grow a failure. It'll be interesting to see what I get out of her before it's over.:oops1:

Don’t sweat it Time!! I tried killing my plants too and they’re still growing. I’ve recently realized I like coco coir for the fact that I water to runoff every time and I don’t worry about overwatering. At this point they are getting watered every morning, and needing it. I’m really amazed by these plants and how they grow, so cool!

Thanks bro. Just a little disappointed in myself. But I only grew one for reason,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,experience. I had a pretty good idea I'd mess something up.

I think I can get her back on track but I'm missing out on prime bud building time. Right now she's 50 shades of green. :naughtystep::haha:

@Time Or do Water Only Soil like KIS Organics and never have to adjust or take PH readings again. Which I admit I kind of like doing the scientific aspect of things, which is why I still foliar spray and adjust the PH of said concoctions, then that $15 PH pen comes in real handy after all. Anyway, just a tiny bit of advice as I have used all sorts of peat based products in the past and they are all quite exploitive of the earth. Water only soil is just composted love in a bag and no filler garbage. Check it out!

Thanks for looking.

Okay. I'll make a ph meter a priority on the must have list.

Hey BP, thanks for helping me stumble in here, you have a great thread going on @Time.

Looking great! I almost got that strain to grow after my Sour Livers but went with Mephisto Strawberry Nuggets I think I'll do some Northern Lights soon though love that strain!

I wanted to suggest (Just a suggestion sense your starting out) looking into Mephisto a couple strains and the reasons why are they are fast to grow, they have a few that are 60 to 70 days from sprout to harvest end so you could get quite a bit of meds stocked up quick also another thing is you get free seeds and freebies so if you get 3 you really get 5 and so on based on how much you get.

Anyway I'll be watching the grow great job again!
