It's Time for an update. Week 7/Day 42
First, potential problems. Minor problems but adjustments were needed. The yellowing bottom leaves has continued and she ate another set of fan leaves and the next set up was starting to go pale. So, rather than just old age I think the soil is out of N. The other thing was that the pistols on the top cola have already started to turn(brown/withered). I think the light is too close.
I watered yesterday. I added a teaspoon of epsom salts, 1/2 teaspoon(half dose) of Flower Fuel and a 1/2 teaspoon(half dose) of Peters Professional for some N.
I raised the light to 21". I know some people have been going as low as 18" with autocobs but I'm wondering if those were the older 55 watt lights. I have the 65 watt light.
Or, I'm just a worried new grower that's kind of a nanny with my plant.
Today the lower leaves that were starting to go pale look a bit greener and the newer top leaves have just a bit of bright green tips that the hydro guys like to see. And it seems like the pistols on the top cola, closest to the light, have quit withering.
She looks healthy to me but bud production seems sooooooo sloooooooowwww. It's likely I'm just very impatient and I want to see big buds.
Pics coming soon. Take a look at last weeks pics and compare to this weeks and let me know if she's stalled a bit, please.
