Pics on what I harvested today will b in about 3-5 days when I take them out the brown bags. Still have my largest plant left but it's a little less dense so I'm guessing around 4-5 ounces dry. I'll take pics in the morning of what the plants look like without Colas lol debating if I should harvest the big guy tomorrow or Monday. Probably tops tomorrow and let it sit and fill out the popcorn maybe. Probably won't make too much difference but it's worth a shot to see.
How do you dry? Wet trim straight to bags? Or fan leaves only and hang on stalks, then bag?
I trim them up as best as I can and directly into brown paper bags and I won't touch them till day three. I label all my big colas as they take an extra day or two so I make sure I open one predetermined bag to check how dry they are and sample at the same time lol. Don't know if this is absolutely the best way as this is my first time harvesting but everything has worked great so far. Almost two weeks into cute on my first plant and everything seems fine. Maybe just a touch too dry but it was a trial run kinda and is still great. Usually one day for every 10% RH in the environment you put your bags in. 40-50% RH is what I recommend. But I'm a noob. There's a great brown bag forum under the harvest section and lots of different ideas get tossed around in there.
Cool. That's how a-train does his and that was the first time I've seen anyone do it that way. I remove all big fans and leave sugar leaves on buds. I hang dry entire plant for 7-10 days then trim afterwards. I jar and burp twice daily a week then every 2-3 days one a day for week two. Then they sit till they are smoked!! Pumped to see pics bro!! OK so today is my day off and I finally have a chance to do a more thorough post about my recent activities. Add you know I took the tops off two girls leaving one fully clothedwho will be getting her top removed on Wednesday. I'll post each individually. First girl to get her tops removed. ...got 419.6 grams wet. Before and after pictures. Trying to leave all the popcorn to hopefully denser up.
Here girl two that got the chop.a lot more not so dense buds I'm leaving on for a week or two but! !!!!! Still managed to pull 341.5 wet grams off her in tops.
And the final girl that is still standing. ....weight is unknown but she is definitely the biggest and most beautiful plant of the four girls. Not as dense as I'd like it to be but that was a whole grow issue because I had too many stuffed in there with the canopy all smashed together lol. But still a great a hull from them all and some wonderful smoke. But here she is. .......
