I know its common to rush this bit in all the excitement of a first grow but having come this far, what's the point of rushing and maybe spoiling the quality which I've put so much time into.

She'll be ready on her terms so it's just waiting until I start seeing those amber trichs. Now that I can dry without the tent too I'll just do the harvest in stages which hopefully will give me some diff buds too... less/more amber/cbd

Another 1.5L of pH 6.19/877ppm with a 0.3L RO of pH 5.96/1480ppm. Where the heck are all these ppms coming from?!!

Day 105: 6L of pH 6.19/877ppm in two sittings with a 2.7L RO of pH 5.99 and RO varying between 1570 and 1330ppm. When the RO came out high, I put an extra couple of ltrs through to lower it.

Day 106: 3L of pH 6.33/630ppm with RO of pH 5.92/1390ppm.

As the intake has now been ~800ppm for a while now (many gallons later) and the RO ppms being much higher, the excess can't all be salt build up, either the plant isn't really drawing any nutrients or the cannazym is breaking down old root matter and producing a lot of additional nutrients. Either way, when it reads high, I'm adding an extra ltr or two to flush some out.

She isn't the healthiest she could be, but she isn't exactly dying but this prob contributes overall to rather slow flower development.

Daily trich check and finding bits of amber in places but it still looks like the majority of trichs are clear.

the last few weeks can seem the slowest we check in every day and nothing looks any different.but look at a photo from a few days ago and we pick up lil changes :smoking: counting the days is only a rough guide.....some call day 1 the day theysow the seed/some day 1 is the first set of true leaves....so off the bat there can be a week or mores difference.gardeners read the plant eejits chop on day 76 if thats what it says in the book multi stage harvest makes a lot of sense

On the daily trich check, beginning to see some cloudy patches but would say the majority are still clear.

The wait continues...

My NL is 5 days less then your and exactly at the same place.All trichs are clear,not even one cloudy or amber...

Just my buddy,
your plant is a beast so maybe just ignore me haha but unfortunately I think you are kind of battling yourself and your plant for harvest.
I was hoping someone who has experienced this would add their input, not sure if reducing your wattage to the light would be better or worse.
However the way I see it; if the buds are foxtailing then they are rapidly making more calyxes off the top, and more new clear trichomes, Rather than finishing the buds it has.
Which I think is why you have some patches of amber and cloudiness but also lots of new clear,
Almost need to do a reverse staged harvest haha get the lower buds around the perimeter that are done and let the ones on top still ripen up?
Of course it is a NL who knows...
Anyway awesome first plant buddy, regardless of what happens now I'm sure it'll be your best smoke to date

@Smoking Frog yeah, the wait is tough as I don't have anything to smoke and it's all there on her just waiting to be enjoyed Good luck with your grow, sure you'll be getting there soon too.

Won't be long now really, I am starting to see some cloudy trichs here and there so perhaps another two weeks till I can start harvesting, another 4-5 days in the wedryer, my lil test bud has been in there 3 days now, stem isn't quite snapping yet, maybe tomorrow.

Then it's time to cure but by that point I can start to sacrifice a bit for 'testing' purposes ... :smoking:
