New Grower First ever grow, 7 Polar Express Auto's Outdoors

I'm not sure how to control thrips outside. I've had them a couple times in doors and after failing to kill them naturally or organically I just nuke the bastards with a pesticide.

Hmm seems theres perhaps less need for control outside, they disappeared about a week ago, done some damage to leaves but haven't noticed any more damage since, have used Bayer Provado Ultimate Bug Killer however so that might have killed them and it's systemic, will be out of plant a week before harvest however. I was a bit stupid and sprayed chem pesticide in bright hot sun and chem burned the topmost smaller fan leaves :/ but have left them on to avoid yield drop.

Also have sprinkled garlic, cinnamon and chilli powder all over the ground in polytunnel and lightly over pot soil, absolutely stinks of garlic and chilli for at least a week before renewing so hopefully helps keep bad bugs away.

The 2 adults had their first feeding of Biobizz grow about 5-6 days ago and will start bloom and topmax next waterings, they are roughly just over 4 weeks old now and despite looking a bit thripped and chemical burnt I think they'll do just fine, still growing and preflowering quickly!

Have successfully sprouted another 5 polar express beans plus one gorilla glue auto, This time round however i am using expensive Biobizz light mix which feels lovely texture wise and looks wholesome, should grow better than In the John Innes. I am paranoid the gorilla glue auto will STINK like fuck of chem and fuel even outdoors with fans, anyone got a rough idea?

Will post pics of the 2 4 weekend and the babies tomorrow, awfully worried about those babies... They're so small!

Ok so it's going okish so far, the 2 adults are just shy of the 5 week mark I think, they seem healthy enough although they aren't looking very pretty, thrips have been hitting them a bit harder than I thought and I even saw one of the bastards on my bean plant I put out as bait..there on their last stretch now growths slowed down and flowering is speeding up quickly, still preflowering I think but looks very close to forming buds. Plants seem healthy enough although the leaves are getting sucked dry by these thrips. Debating whether or not to buy some Chems and spray before flower...I need to do something before buds start appearing. Have a look and tell me what you think.

Btw the white powdery stuff on leaves isn't mildew it's remnants of Diatomaceous Earth I tried as a preventative. Done sweet bugger all!

Here's some pics
