TIME: 12:54pm Day 28 (Transplant)
AUTOBLUES UPDATE
Alright; so I may have just killed her; if I did, it really sucks yet everything is a learning experience and hopefully she pulls through.
The soil she was in was a base random soil in a coco pot then outside of the coco pot was Miracle Grow 3 month as its all I had at the time and couldn't afford to order the
HF on Amazon. Her roots grew into the Miracle grow by the time I got the Fox Farms so I figured it may be best to leave her. (which ended up not being the best choice).
This start was totally spontaneous and i just got started with nothing at all and built everything as I went. Then got to where we are today. I know not the best way at all to start; yet it is what it is and its the only way I could bring myself to get started growing.
With that said....
I think the Miracle Grow 3 month was killing her and most likely she would have died if I kept her in there the rest of the time. I will take my chances..
A few people told me I need to get her out of the Miracle Grow asap. Just a little bit ago my new 3 gallon smart pots arrived in the mail from amazon. I took the opportunity to transplant her (I've know this since day one not to transplant yet I didn't have everything right to start. Just would have never started if I didn't jump is all and I would still be reading journals.
Long story short Now she is in all Fox Farms Happy Frog soil in a 3 gallon smart pot. Her roots were looking great (wish I could have got a pic but no one to take it). They reached the bottom of the plastic pot and were starting to wrap around the sides a lot.
I flushed the soil a few times and had the soil at tent temperature before I transplanted her. She is stressed TF out now im sure and looking droopy as to be expected from the transfer and wet soil. Lights just turned off for the next 4 hours so hopefully she will get a little rest and her roots will start to hit the new "HAPPY" soil. As one can only hope.
****************************
The seedlings have only been watered once on November 10th at 12:23 am. (4 days ago) Each seedling was given 5ml of water each, there are holes on the bottom of the cups to allow drainage. They have been under Saran Wrap ever since to keep the humidity up during this time which is why the soil may still be wet. I can take this off I guess although humidity is relatively low at this point. It is opened up twice a day for awhile during the day to add new fresh air inside the tiny greenhouse..
The seedlings were unexpected and brought over by a friend. The disco effect could be from the water bottles they are in not sure... They will be planted in their final pots in the next few days which the soil will be as follows:
3 Gallon Smart Pots
Top Layer:
1/4 Black Gold Potting Soil mixed with
1/4 Fox Farms Happy Frog
------------------------
1/2 Kind Soil
"Adding 3% Clay Pellets throughout the entire mixture to allow air and moisture to aerate the soil and water to drain better"- Jorge Cervantes
Will be adding pictures later after Lights On.
