Jhn, I'm happy to hear that those seeds are germing for you! :wiz: I'm sorry I can't give you advice on the HPS- no knowledge.

I'll be honest with you and tell you that you LR is on the small side. It could be one of many things or a combination- your pH values, feeding schedule, lights, or even the pheno in itself being just a runt. She'll probably put on a little more height, but don't expect too much more upward growth. I'd guess she'll go up a bit more and then start fattening up, becoming a big fat juicy bud.
She's stunted, in my opinion, and you'll just have to give her the best care you can through flowering and I'm sure she'll reward you with some real nice smoke. Maybe just not as much as you would have hoped for.
Just put it down as a good learning experience, even if she's small, still a good start to something that will just get better with the new sprouts.
:smokebuds:

wonder what it could have been? O'well, I have 5 others right? See if we can't do better with those. Out of 10 cfl's I have 2 of the flower bulbs on the side, the rest are veg lights, should I change anything???????

We have well water here. The sink water is not drinkable, but we have a spout on the sink that goes to the reverse osmosis system for drinking water. I just tested the sink water PH is around 7.8 and the reverse osmosis faucet is 6.8

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE ! ! ! OK, sorry about the delay, I had my kiddies for the week and hard to put stuff up or even visit the site with them over my shoulder. I did some arranging, hooked up the 400 watt HPS. Just gave the smaller ones just PH'd Water, Im takin it easy with the nutes this time around, whatever the schedule says Im cutting it in 1/2. They all are doing well, the older Lowryder is starting to flower, she was bone dry for a day and she just got 1/2 tsp Tiger bloom 1/2 tsp Grow Big, with about 3/4 teaspoon mollases in the mix. Lets see how they do with the HPS going

Wow, Hardly any feedback at all here, c'mon guys......This morning I drove over, open the cab and temp is 96. I just left the cab door open and that will solve that. Dont have to be stealth. Out of 6 plants 1 is turning a little yellow on 2 leafs. They were very dry so I gave them all a good drink this morning with the nutes. The stunted low ryder has actually stretched up a bit more and the others have no signs of yellowing. Below are some pics, in the one pic, you can see the exhaust fan in the top front left corner, below the plants is the fan and the other pic is another pic on the outside of the cab blowing air into the intake.

Hey jhn, How's it been? :smokebuds:
Your passive intake is very small. I'd like to advise you to get your tools out again and make it much bigger. Depending on who you ask, your (passive)intake should have 1.5 - 3 times as large an area as your exhaust. Mine is working great at 2x the area. Get that bigger and your temps will drop and your plants will be happier for more fresh air and co².

I really envy the size of that cab. Have you thought about setting up something a little more flexible for your cfls's? You have all that room in there and the cfl's are "chained down" and you can't really get them in close to the plants so they can really benefit. I know you like your hammers, saws and drills, so that's why I'm giving you ideas. I'm NOT trying to anger you!

Your little ones are looking good. I don't know about the yellowing, other than maybe a combination of heat and nutes started too soon. Less is more when they're that small. It's easy to Over-Love them.

Looking good jhn. The new sprouts all look healthy and squat. Keep up the good work. That 400 should kick a** In there. You only concern would be heat but with good ventilation you should be able to get that down to around 14-16 inches away. Just keep an eye out for heat stress on the little ones. Green karma coming your way :wiz:

Thanks Noods And Captain! I'll make the hole biiger later, and Noods, I havent given the little one thats yellowing any Nutes until today, and I only gave them a 1/4 strength. I took your advice and let them get bone dry 2 days since the last watering, just watered them today, wondering if the no water for 2 days and heat yellowed them. And the stunted Lowryder girl stretched a bit more, not much but atleast 3-4 inches, so atleast I'll get somethin outta her

Sound advice here Noods! You've made me re-consider my in-take too.. Thanks for that.

I'd have to agree with the Captain jhn :D Some good ideas going on here for sure - teiring into the hempy buckets. The AK47 x Lowryder looks like she's about to explode :booya: Nice thread bro! Keep up the good work.. +rep
