New Grower First AF grow, Northern Lights, Crit Mass, Cr Caramel and Af Kush. Heeya!

dang bro ur babies are lookin way better than mine and my babies are about the same age as yours. hehe now im really ashamed of my girls. i feel like an abuser j/k

Looking pretty good, maybe just a bit hot on the soil, but looks as if they will stabilize as long as you give them the plain PHed water for a bit.

 Are you kidding me B-Leaf?? Haha. I thought they looked pretty crappy man. Especially the Northern lights I hope she isn't stunted too bad and comes back. I've just seen so many other people's babies having way more growth than some of these. The tall one, Critical Mass is a week old I thought she would have two or three nodes by now. The NL is 11 days and is the smallest one. The others are on track in my back though at 3 days. Hopefully this ship will take it up a few knots soon. Thanks a million man, that makes me feel better even if you are new, so am I. We'll see how she goes in the days to come chaps. Thanks B-leaf and surffreak.

nice looking seedlings you have there Squid :smokebuds:

:peace: BeaverG

Thanks beavergoods. I appreciate the kind words and the time you took to check me out.

Guys, I really wouldn't spend much time worrying about the size of seedlings, especially with your first grow. It's all a learning experience that goes into the old memory bank for future reference. Also, I've had some seedlings that grew really fast & I was convinced they'd be monster plants, but they ran out of steam and were just average. Others started slow and seemed unhealthy, but they ended up producing very well. Either way, whatever the seedlings did will be long forgotten in a couple of months when you're getting ready to harvest. :smoke:

You're absolutely right Andy! Thanks for coming around and telling me like it is man. I needed that. This time next year I will laugh at these posts I'm sure. And definitely before then when I harvest these babies. That's what I will do from here out; Pretty much just act like they are gonna be just fine. Not small, not a 'pounder', but good solid plants that will yield me some good smoke for a little while. You're the man Andy. Thanks to everyone that checks in and helps me out. Really not sure what I'd do if I didn't have the AFN by my side. Alright, alright, I'm getting a lil sappy here. Onward...

The girls are actually seriously doing just fine. Just now going to sleep for their daily four hour nap during the hottest part of the day, especially as it continues to heat up in these here parts. Unless I have more issues that I can't figure out on my own I am going to wait a while to post more pics until more developments occur. I know it was ph that was screwing me up and I now know how to fix it so I will stay on top of it until amended. I hope to be able to buy a decent ph meter this weekend maybe or by the start of next week. I will get by with the drops until then. Also hope to be able to buy my 'proper' exhaust setup with my filter as I will be needing that for smells in a month +/-. The tent is getting plenty refreshed and circulated for the time being though. The 6 basil plants I have in the tent is all I can smell now. Thanks again guys. Until next time...

Hey people. Been out of town this weekend and was only able to get on a couple times and not for very long. Feels good to be back on. I had a buddy check over my babies over the weekend. He accidentally closed the closet my tent is in and temps got up to 90 degrees. I'm thinking this is bad, stayed like that for almost day. I have some pics of my girls and a couple are having some problems. I'm pretty sure the NL is gone. Look at her. haha. Sucks. I guess she was just too stunted from planting too deep then the ph was off. I have seemed to amend my ph, runoff is back where it's supposed to be, so I dropped my water's ph that I was using to raise my runoff back to about 6.5 or right under. There is some yellowing and drooping going on as you can see in the pics. Not sure if this was the heat or what. Slightly bummed again but it is what it is I guess.
>My Crit Mass is growing on up(still the biggest one at 11 days, but she has a little yellowing in the newer tips.
>That pitiful NL is at day 16 and she just looks pathetic.
>AKR and CrCaramel are both at day 9. The AKR looks good besides the droopiness.
>CC has a wee bit of yellowing.

Not sure what's wrong since my ph runoff and all is back to normal. I would greatly appreciate a little help. Thanks a ton folks.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully they all recover. The NL is indeed in bad shape but if she's still alive there's still hope. I had the exact same thing as your AKR on one of my Mi5s and now she's perfectly fine! I dropped the cup she was in by accident and I put her back in:P

squid, the longest time you should be away from seedlings is the 5-6 hours you sleep :D
