Lighting Finally building my COB

Good call on the heat issue.. Note for future build..cause there will be another..
 
One step further!! Frame is built and the overall length is 4'4" which will give the 5 cobs the 12" spacing. This required one bag/8 bolts-washers-nuts...square the frame and tighten all down...whoa its a beast..

So far so good besides that banged up screw. No worries man the drivers are fine for the cobs.
Right on brudda!! Yup all good,i gotta take the grambaby to the park but the next step is to put the cobs in the holders,mount those to heatsinks,then mount to frame ...with the thermal grease,am i just looking for even coverage underneath the cob? Do the cobs need cleaned/wiped before firing up( okay that sounds noob,but im used to dealing with HID bulbs that cant have fingerprints on them)

Clean the surface that you are applying the thermal grease.. thin even coat..
