New Grower Finally after 5 year of waiting, decided it's time for a new Grow.

Gelato Auto 31 days above ground, Fantasmo Express X Toof Decay 19 days above ground
You know what time it is...?
Yep you guessed it, update time. :woohoo1:
Gelato Auto growing well, made a mistake last week and said I fed her the week 3 feed, well in fact it was the week 2 feed.
On Thursday I fed her the week 3 feed, which should have been the week 4 feed, doh!
The strange thing is that the ppm were lower this week than last week, I fed her 230ppm or 0.630 EC this week.
That's cheap TDS meters for you
A couple of leaves are showing strange, yellow, spots on them, not sure what that's about. Anyone know?
Will keep an eye on her.
I will also feed her the week 4 feed just before her 5th week.
She is drinking a lot faster these days, 3 litres in 2 days in a 3 gallon fabric pot.
She is getting around 850 umols
Anyway here are some pictures.

And now on to the slow coach, the Fantasmo Express x Toof Decay, she's picked up over the last 6 days but I still think she is a week behind.
Just been getting water, maybe will give her a feed next time, as the Gelato Auto started getting a few spots on the third week.
She is getting about 340 umols.
Here are a couple of pictures.

Do you know what time it is...?
Yes, you guessed it, update time. :woohoo1:
Gelato Auto doing quite well growing every day. Fed just over 200ppm of bloom nutes on Wednesday, will slowly increase the ppm's.
Been doing a feed water feed schedule. Will probably do a defol during the week.
Here are a couple of pictures.

Now I hope you are all sitting down, as you are in for a bit of a shock. :yoinks:
The Fantasmo Expresss x Toof Decay was growing well one minute, next boom this happened.

I got a deficiency.
Pretty sure it is a magnesium deficiency, at least I hope so as she has been fed some magnesium , along with grow, seaweed extract, root stimulant and silicon. She got a feed of over 500 ppm. The cheap meter first showed 503ppm, then next second jumped up to 598ppm.
Anyway they are organic nutes so it will take a week I think to see some benefit?
Either way, the magnesium deficiency hasn't got any worse and she has been growing fast the last few days.
Thanks for reading.

Hi Guys,
Should I Pull the Fantasmo Express x Toof Decay?
It's been a week since I planted her in her forever home and as you can see she has hardly grown, what do you think.
Give more time or pull?

Just to make things clearer, she was sprouted in a rapid rooter and all ready had her first two leaves when I planted her in the final pot.
You can see the the growth difference from the Saturday picture.
Soil looks very wet, I would just water about 4 inch diameter around seedling at that stage

Gelato Auto 45 days above ground, Fantasmo Express X Toof Decay 33 days above ground
You know what time it is...?
Update time.:woohoo1:
Gelato Auto has taken a turn for the worse, she was growing well I thought and now she has been hit with multiple deficiencies or lockouts.
You can read more about it here:-
All advice welcome, the only advice I have been given so far is just to water and see if she improves.
Anyway buds are still growing so there is hope. She is getting 900 umols
Here are some pictures:-

Now onto the Fantasmo Express X Toof Decay, she has grown a lot over the past week and seems to have got over her magnesium issue after her feed last week. She is getting 650 umols. She looks a bit droopy as it was time to water + she got a feed of 514ppm
I'll give her a defol this week all being well.
Take a look:-

Not looking to bad man. I’m not saying to do this, but if they were my plants id remove all the big fans. Especially the ones showing signs of issues. I’m gonna go refresh my memory real quick on the details of your grow.

Thanks for the reply, I am thinking about doing what you said, thank you.

Well it's that time again... update time :woohoo1:
Gelato Auto doing ok, had a few brown patches on the leaves, some had small holes in them.
Decided it was time to feed her, so fed her 309 ppm (was measured on my cheap tds meter, so don't know how accurate it is) :haha:
Was going to give her a higher dose, but there was already 1 litre of water in my sprayer and didn't realise, oops.
Have included the feeding schedule, fed the week 3 feed at half dose.
The leaves were curled downwards the next morning after feeding, some stress maybe, so turned down the light for the day.
The next day she was fine, so turned it back up.
Getting about 490 umols at the moment.
Been leaf tucking along the way.
Anyway, here are a couple of pictures for you.

Now onto the problem child, the Fantasmo Express x Toof Decay.
She hardly seems to be growing, only a small amount each day, which is something I suppose.
You can see her small size in the second overheard picture.
She is not dead yet!
Was thinking of pulling her, but will ride it out for a bit longer.
Anyway here she is at 13 days above ground, 11 days in her forever home.
Edited to add, Fantasmo Express x Toof Decay is getting about 278 umols

Thanks all for reading, now off to water the girls.
Dont give up on her. runts can surprise you.

My $.02 ...Make sure you have a good pH meter. My crappy one caused me a lot of problems, even when I checked the calibration every time. Had issues pretty similar to yours. They will get worse before they get better, usually a week or so delay on symptoms. Don't let it discourage you!

pH issues cause a lot of nutrient problems.

I upgraded to a bluelab meter and it's pretty good

This is my next purchase for sure. Still using a $9 Amazon ph pen lol. Might even just buy it right now and get it over with.
