Quick update. All 3 HBD's are above ground now. 2 need to ditch their shells yet but I'm happy bout that. The other two still below dirt. Hoping for the best there. The AA1 is still blowing up and I'm glad to know her roots are o.k. the way they are... Thanks to Sniper and TBM for letting me know they will prune themselves. I didn't think she'd blow out the bottom of the 2 gallon pot already! She's exactly 5 weeks old today. The other 2 AA's are still great and stinky too! The NYLPD1 is staying small but has a very thick main stem and growth at every node. Got another NYLPD male today... That ratio sucked but I'm taking the blame on that one... NO MORE TRANSPLANTING!!! lol I'll say it again! So, I ended up with 1 female out of 4. Going to do another run of them soon as the next round is ready for the dirt. Snow Ryders are getting chopped at week 9 which will be on the 7th. Pictures later. Hope you all are doing well! Later buds!

hey west sry to hear about the male bro gonna be taking some pics of mine tonight still waiting on the other two i just put in dirt to show there faces. will be waiting to see the pics:smokebuds:

PICTURE UPDATE

Hey Killa no worries bud! I got more beans so this time I will be doing it right. :D Straight into dirt! Here's the pics I've been promising for days...

The Newest Additions... 3 Himalayan Blue Diesel. 2 of them are having issues ditching their shells so I sprayed them down with pH'd water and have them out from under the HPS so they don't fry until they are dry. Hope this will help them along naturally... Actually I just checked and the shells have slipped off after 30 mins! Awesome...

Comments, suggestions, always welcome! SR2 isn't stretched... She's a mutant for the record. She's the one that had 2 Male Pollen Sacks removed and now her nuggs are beefing up. The Snow Ryder also look like the calyxes are swelling today. Do you all agree? Enjoy the pics buds!

hey bro looking great wish i had the space to have as much selection as u! those sr's are really packing on the weight now especially #1.

Lookin' good bro.

I'm not familiar with SR but I think you'll see a good bit more swelling and it can happy really quick, depending on the strain. Just looking at the plants (SR's), it appears you have at least a couple more weeks to go., IMHO. :peace:

Hey Killa! I wish you had the space too man! You could grow some monsters for sure!! Yeah SR1 is really getting a wide cola. Her nuggs are waaay fatter than the first run.

Hey Joe! That's the thing with these Snow Ryders... When we smoked that last run at week 9 it was the craziest heady energetic racy high we've had. At week 10 it was no where near that. Almost non existent (any kind of buzz). So what exactly is happening when the calyxes swell? Filling up with THC? I'm still struggling with a good time to harvest these but, you know I always trust and value your honest opinion. So, if I over dried the last crop at 10 weeks would that be the reason the high was non existent? Because of human error and not because the plant was past it's prime? Thinking out loud again!!

We discussed this before, I had forgotten.

When we smoked that last run at week 9 it was the craziest heady energetic racy high we've had. At week 10 it was no where near that.

This really doesn't make sense to me.

That would indicate to me that something may have happened when you were trying to re-hydrate, exposing it to the lettuce, which ultimately led to having to tinker with it quite a bit to make it smoke-able again (am I remembering this right?). The high should not diminish or go away if you let it live longer. The only real difference should be the type high. Actually, when you take it earlier, it should be less potent but more "up".

Bottom line... if you want a good "day" smoke, take it earlier. If you want to fall asleep after the high wears off some, take it later. :peace:

Right, I know about that. So that's why we were scratching our heads going "What the F*CK?" lol Last week it kicked our ass, now nothing!? Can that also happen from Over Drying the bud?

Yes you are correct on that. The thing is SR's don't amber... I was told and read... BUT I had some random amber... So that's another confusing thing. I personally think I muffed it up when I was drying and curing. The only logical thing I can think of.

If you did, it was trying to rehydrate with the lettuce, in my opinion. I have never seen a good end result from trying to rehydrate with anything that is holding lots of water like vegetables or fruit. Cannabis can be re-hydrated just like quality hand-made cigars that have gotten a little dry. But, you'd never throw a piece of lettuce in your humidor (unless you were mad at your cigars, LOL).

Hey, if it was me, I might just use it as an excuse to do a lot of testing, until it gets just right... :twist:

Yeah true! Yeah, I'll never do that again. I know how long I'm going to dry this time. Hopefully things will be better this go around! Thanks Joe! :smokebuds:
