Yes, but it is a tease. Picture the two pointed barbs on the flat side of each node. I really don't remember what they are called. When they finally curl away from the stem and cross, they look just like pistils at a glance. They even have a white membrane on the inside to fool us further. Meantime, pods or pistils, still too early to tell.without my scope.
