Indoor Feenix Summer Grow 2016

Hey Egz, Good to see you. Long time no see. Thanks for dropping in. Glad you like it. Feel free to use it as you wish.

I'm working on a rig now to try to time lapse the cycle of a trich from growth through the clouding to amber then shrinking. It won't be easy keeping focus but worth a try. It isn't likely I will get the shots of just one trich all the way through. I'll be happy to get enough to compile a decent clip.
I look at their last purpose as a mixing vessel fed through the tube, clouded while mixing the fixings, settles clear with the puddle of amber, then shrunk to the bulk of the puddle.

Day 81
Speed Devil2
After a closer look. I decided to wait a few more days before chopping.
The Trichs on the underside have yet to turn for the most part. There is still a lot of clear that are starting to cloud up. The top of the leaves have a lot but not the underside.
Taking a page from Mossy and her Nite Nite Dragon, (I love that name) I'm going to let this go to about 50% amber.
There is a fine line between Nite Nite and Oww, my head aches. Hope I don't cross it.

Wow impressive pics. please share the secret......How ?

Hi again Feenix,

Hey Egz, Good to see you. Long time no see. Thanks for dropping in.

Well, i knew the alias sounded familiar, yet i really think the determination and aftermath demonstrated here are worthy enough to copy that pair to a reference bank or something!

That is an even more ambitious project, it will require proper illumination and most probably long photo sessions trying to locate the same features. I'll bet your next project will have fair success when it concludes!

Good day, have fun!! :peace:

Hi again,

This is what i have:

2v00qyc.jpg

Mine seems to be a 2 Mpx model, it's marked 25x - 400x and was significantly more expensive when i acquired it locally a few years ago; there was no need for any driver installation under Win7/Win10 nor even Linux (it was for XP anyway). Unfortunately it won't generate pictures with as much clarity and colour accuracy as what i seen here, the light adjustment rotary button appears to be made of low-quality Chinese plastic which i found to be cracked after simple transport. Effective/practical range fails to match what's announced and considering there's a multitude of look-alike clones around i'd suggest searching for a 5 Mpx model as that would give some hint that updates/corrections have been performed past the older version(s)...

Before that i tried a Celestron but immediately discovered the hard way this was actually a toy (sold as one) when i got a fair look at the box, much too late: chromatic aberration rendered it useless while the camera element wouldn't stay put firmly in place, because its low-density particles-filled plastic just eroded after a few sessions.

In conclusion being able to find a decent unit below 20 $ sounds like a proof of good fortune, time to buy lotery tickets!...

:rolleyes2:

That is the same unit in a different color and a bit less power.

Look at the link I posted and scroll down to the one on a black squared frame JZHY 1000x for $25US is the best deal so far. I'm getting it for the stand and having twice the power., for $7 more it is a steal.

Salutations Feenix,

That is the same unit in a different color and a bit less power.

That's good to know as it only re-confirms there are clones of it and these don't necessarily equal each other interchangeably...

For example, my Celestron should have been top notch judging from the name alone. It still ended as scrap, nothing worth was left to refurbish except the reticules (2)... But that was a toy mistaken/misrepresented for/as a tool.

M'yes, exactly. That is my point and i'd also add lets pray the e-business you did commerce with won't have a change of supplier...

That would be most regrettable, so my conclusion will be, if it's as good as the photographs suggest then BUY NOW, later may happen to be too late!

I mean, common guys! Have another look at it:

And you know what? It's not the end of it, tha's the thumbnail resolution!... Try clicking on one of those for a zoom-in. Really, if the deal stands then this got to be an eye opener, litterally...
