New Grower FastBuds: LSD-25, Pineapple Express, Northern Express and Tangie`Matic

Check out insta-transplant pots if you need room for transplants....they are working VERY well for everyone that is using them...allow a transplant without a risk of off timing or a poorly executed transplant.https://www.autoflower.org/threads/maximizing-outdoor-autos-guide-to-growing-under-the-sun.56402/

Those inst-pots are brilliant! I was suppose to use them initially, but unfortunatel my local growshop only had one in the store for showoff, and I was too ready to get started, than to wait for the transplant pots.
I had completely forgot about them until you pointed them out here! Thanks!
I will hopefully be using these pots in the next grow (If I don`t start directly in end pots)

UPDATE WEEK 5 (Day 34):
So, since the last picture update, some changes has been made based on further research and great input from members in this community.
First, I`d like to thank @jingo for the tip about using Clay Pebbles to create a bug barrier as well as prop up the stems a little bit.
The pebbles underwent a heavy wash, and are now in place!
On the next grow, I`m also considering a layer in the bottom of the pots, anyone got any input on that?

As you can see on the picture above, this is the current state of the tent:

Tangie`Matic (Front right): As I suspected from earlier on, the Tangie is turning out to be a very bushy plant! she started to spread out as soon as she broke soil and didn`t leave much room for the pebbles. The plant structure is healthy, but my only concern at this point is that the stem is too weak to support heavy flowering. Hopefully the pebbles are doing some of the work. I have also moved it to the spot in the tent with best air circulation, to help support stem growth. I tried to LST her to get some light penetration on the lower shots, but she is so bushy that I need to divide the training over a longer period of time to not overdo it.

Pineapple Express (Back left): This strain has just been a delight to grow so far. As you can see on the picture, it`s the tallest girl in the tent and the plant structure is perfect! I did however experience some damage on some of the leafs, almost looked like a genetic deficiency. Did not have any impact on the rest of the plant, but will keep an eye out for it. I can`t wait to see what this girl can deliver during flowering that is right around the corner!

Northern Express (Front left): It`s easy to see that this has been crossed with the pineapple express. The forgiveness and rewarding you get from this genetics are just off the hook! This girl is just going strong and handled the LST like a champ, together with the Pineapple Express and the Tangie. So far, the Northern Express has been the easiest strain to grow in veg stage, while Pineapple Express was the most rewarding one.

LSD-25 (Back right): The lsd has been a slow grower since the beginning and has developed a very different figure than the other girls. The LSD-25 is less bushy and have just recently started to gain height. Due to the growth of this plant, I decided not to perform any LST on her, and she is currently just growing straight up like a Christmas tree. Not a fan of it, but since there is almost no bush on her, there is no problem with the light penetration and she should have the same environment as the rest of the girls. I`m throwing in a picture of the stem of the LSD-25 under. This is taken the same day as the pebbles got used.

As you can see on the picture below, I`m currently fighting a 600W HPS in a grow tent in Spain in August.
My temps are running at 29-32 degrees Celsius. I`ve supplemented with two fans in addition to my air intake.
The humidity is running from 60-70%. I`m not so worried about the humidity at this stage, but if I`m not able to lower it during the end of flowering, I`m afraid I will have to pay in bud density.. Let`s see if I`m able to get a dehumidifier for when that time comes.

So this was an update from the end of veg stage. All in all, the first 5 weeks went good, and the girls has been very patient and forgiving while I try to get the temperature under control. As the flowering stage is yet to come, I can`t wait to see how the autoflowers will develop.
Updates will be posted frequently and tip and other input are greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who`s sticking around to come with tips and trics and hopefully some of the knowledge I learn along the way can be picked up by other freshly baked growers :smoking:

I used to run grow stones in the bottom of my pots, with the pebbles on top. Now that I use bags or air pots it doesn't matter. But the stones were big enough to not fall out the drain holes.

That`s a good idea to avoid pebbles falling trough the drain holes!
Did you see any clear benefits of running grow stones in the bottom over soil all the way?

i use the 1st one it didnt cost a lot but keeps my temps down also the air hoods are the same sort of thing it will help with ya temps if it gets to high

I will have a look at what I can acquire! I`m currently running with an open reflector, so a air hood should be enough if i connect it to my air exhaust.
The exchaust is connected to a carbon filter, but I think i can just cut the exit flexible duct in half and connect it to the air hood, before it continue out of the grow area, correct? Or do i need to get a new exit hole, fan and flexible duct for the air hood?

Yeah they function a lot the same as on top they help keep the roots from getting waterlogged and they also provide a barrier for bugs getting into your soil.

this is how i have mine i keep my rvk fan on the outside so i have lots of room it took my temps down by around 7f i hope this helps also some use a separate fan on the light but mine was fine this way

Yeah, that`s how I imagined it. Looks clean and easy! Well done!
If I`m able to get it down 7f, I would be on about 78-80 F - perfect.

I think I have some spare duct at home, so I just need to find a good airhood and we`re rolling!
I`m heading over to Amsterdam for the weekend to check out some new genetics, but will look into it first thing Monday.
Flowering is scheduled for next week and I`d love to be able to boost my lux a little for that, but at this point, there is no way I can lower the lights without risking to heatstress the ladies.

Thank you again for bringing this option to my attention! Hopefully I`m able to get my heat problems under control once and for all..!

Ah alright!
I`m just afraid of sacrificing to much of the grow depth, since I`ve already compromised so much grow space by getting the deep pots.
I`ll have a look at the root formation after this growth and take the decision based on that, but thank you for pointing it out! I`ll have a closer look at the grow rocks!
