New Grower FastBuds: LSD-25, Pineapple Express, Northern Express and Tangie`Matic

My point exactly, that`s a 29% decrease in light right there. Gotta love that LUX meter:woohoo1:
All phone models have different standardized settings, so be careful so not everyone in here turn their phone lux calib. down to 0.71 :LOLStoned:

yeah i know, i just wanted to say that my own device needed a factor of 0.71 to get the real value. For other devices ( even if it is the same model ) it needs to be done for its own.

Yep definitely working on getting something to measure properly especially now im delving into diy leds and such, but I'll save up for a decent par meter first lol. At this point the app does the job in so far as telling me if I lm getting an even spread across the conopy, I know the numbers won't be correct 100% but it gives me an idea especially if it's out by 10-20k if I move a pot a few cms etc or raise/lower light

well for a good handheld PAR-meter you gonna pay at least 500 bucks, so it better be worth it :D i am also saving money for one but not with highest priority hehe

UPDATE DAY 68

Hi everyone! I`m sorry for not updating this journal as often as I would life to. Some complications came up, but everything should be back to normal now, so let`s get to it! :d5:

So first we can start off with some general information about the conditions in the tent and the growth.
As the girls where germinated in the middle of June, you can imagine the heat struggles I`ve been fighting here in southeast Europe.
After we converted to LED`s halfway into the growth, the temps has been going a little down and only the top colas is being pushed to their limits.

A week ago, we had some unexpected visitors from white flies!
Due to the high temp and humidity, I can`t day that I`m very surprised... :nono:
Anyway, picked up something to get rid of it on the local grow shop, and since I didn`t want this to come on the buds, It gave me a nice opportunity to take the girls outside for an hour while I was fixing them up. This also opened up for a little photo shoot

Here is a picture of the whole family gathered after the treatment against white flies.
As you can see, some of the top colas are slightly affected by the heat from the LED.

LSD 25
The LSD-25 is has for sure become the flagship in the tent. With it`s red genetics and strong sent, she has truly been a joy to grow. She is not as bushy as the rest, so it is easier to provide her with a deep light penetration. The buds are long and stacked, and they are getting thicker by the day. Can`t wait to see how the final result will look like. Here on day 68 from germination.

Pineapple Express:
The Pineapple Express has lived up to all the expectations and are just a delight to grow.
Since day 1, they have been doing their own thing, and gives you several chances to f*ck up.
This plant is very forgiving and I would highly recommend it to any first grower.
Like the Northern Express, the genetics are also very rewarding, and any extra`s you do to her, she will for sure pay you back for it.

Northern Express:
When it comes to growing this genetics, the process and the result is very similar to the Pineapple Express. They are easily separated by the smell, and even tho the Pineapple might have heavier buds at this point, there is definitely a possibility for this girl to catch up. The Northern Express and the Tangie`matic started with PK booster 1 week later than the other girls.
If you are a 100% new grower, I highly recommend Northern Express and Pineapple Express by FastBuds for very easy genetics.

Tangie`matic:
The Tangie`matic has finally began to gain some height. A long time, this girl was far behind the others when It came to gaining any height. She started out VERY bushy, something that is easy to see today, when we look at the bottom of her stem. The amount of growth at the bottom is intense, but unfortunately it`s not going to get enough light to become anything at all. As she was lacking so much energy to start growing again, we decided to do some easy lollypopping on her. I know this is not recommended but it was a special case.
Luckily she handled the stress good and showed fast results. She is almost at the same canopy as the rest and are starting to smell heavy citrus!

They are closing in to the end of their life, and based on the girls, It seems like the flush will come sometime next week!
:thanks::pop:

We just got a deadline.. :nono:
Family visit is scheduled in 3 weeks, so the girls has to be on glass by the 10th of October.. :face:

Should be fine, just very tight.. :condom:

DAY 70
Last feeding day for Pineapple Express and LSD-25.

As we are closing in on harvest, It`s time for these two girls to get their last feed.
For their finale meal, they got served the crystal mix from Mills Nutrients, hopefully to make them just a little more frosty!

Here are some more pictures from today`s photo shoot.

As you can see, it`s getting pretty crowded in my 60x60 tent! Next time I will run 3 plants instead of 4!
Happy growing!

Oh my god, they are in glass!

That was my first reaction waking up this morning!
Last Saturday, we took a decision to cut 3 out of the 4 girls down and the last one is going today.

The Tangie`matic, LSD-25 and the Northern Express was chopped down, 77 days old.
They have been hanging in the drying closet for 5 days, until they got a dry feeling on the outside.

Holy cow what a learning curve this has been! from starting out with close to no idea and a 250 HPS light as sole lightsource for the first two months before we got LED`s.

There is still some trimming that needs to be done, but the current weight is as folloing:
Tangie`matic: 48 grams
Northern Express: 68,4 Grams
LSD-25: 85,1 Grams
Pineapple Extreme: TBA

This brings the total amount up to 201,5 grams, with still one plant to go on this 60x60x140cm grow area.
Since this is my first run with autoflowers and this setup, I`m satisfied with these numbers, even tho I will (hopefully) crush them next round!

For other growers looking into these genetics from Fastbuds, I can with confidence say that they have a lot more in them than I was able to show here.
The yield is also compromised because of the lack of grow space in the tent, after all, there were 4 girls in there and my MarsHydro 900Watt was not able to do more without any defoliation.

The Pineapple Express is getting chopped down today for practical reasons, even tho she could have been in there for a few more days.
I have a picture to show you how she`s rocking the tent by herself:

I will come back next week with a more detailed bud report with pictures and thoughts next week!

Happy weekend everyone :vibe:
