Hello everyone
Next run under the cobs will be fastbuds green crack..

So lets get to it,

Lights are diy cobs spread across 2 panels
16x vero 29s mixing 2 spectrums
12x 3500k 80cri and 4x 2700k 90cri

Giving the reflectors a shot this time, had great success last run without them but i bought them so we'll see how it goes.. I may take them off in the final weeks as i lower the lights to 12-18"..
Still have to put them on the second panel. Im starting the seedlings without them right now.

Nutes

I will be using my new nutes this time.
Full green planet line up.. Ive heard great things about there products and local shop swears by them. I will be using there latest creation the duel fuel.. A 2part system that is start to finish, no switching of grow to bloom.. U just add your additives during flower(liquid w8, massive, terpinator)...

Also have some advance nutrient and general hydroponic additives as well if needed...

So beans have been above soil for 2-3 days. Not a whole lot to see yet.. All beans germed, i have yet to lose a seed(knock on wood)... Temps are 23-25 Celsius and humidity is 70-75 at this young stage. All ladies are up and happy.

Pulling a 150w across 8 cobs for the seedlings and the panel is 4-5 ft away.. Hoping for a little more strech this run, think the panel was a little low last time in veg.. We'll do some experimenting..

Ill try to have weekly updates..
Cheers

This looks amazing. Can you explain more about the lighting system and it's wattage please. Have you done this before if so do you have a diary from start to end please?

Check my signature.. Theres a build thread and my first grow with them.Theres also a diy lighting section here where u can learn tons about building your own cob rig..
These lights are killer. Way more efficient than hps, much much better spectrum, more even spread of photons across the canopy, customizable, upgradable.. The list goes on... Check my build thread out..
Cheers

Each panel can dim from 50-490w.. U cannot compare hps watts to cob watts.. With the spectrum and efficiency of the cobs, its almost double in my experience..

Heat difference is huge.. I had to run a heater when just using 1 panel.. It all depends on how hard u run your cobs, but at 50w per cob u can have your hand an inch away with no burning... With both my panels running it is perfect in my tent.. I have my extraction fan on a thermostat and it kicks in every 2-3hrs for about 5-10mins to exchange the air and cool the tent a bit..

With just one panel running and only one vent open in the tent i couldn't get the temps over 20 Celsius.. Plants like it a bit warmer under cobs.. I always ran 22-23c under hps, im finding 25-26c under cobs to work very well..

Awsome mate count me in. I always enjoy seeing ur perfect selfbuilt setup amazing mate well done.even better i got a cob grow il be starting a journel today, but im only running 200w and my autos are only a day behind yours.2 days above soil today;) so be good to compare results;) happy growing bro;)

Little update here
Few days over a week now i think. Im not going to be counting days anymore, we'll tally at the end. Everything going good, girls are under the other panel as ive finally finished the setup.. Been procrastinating for a while.. Both panels have there reflectors on and are hung in there final positions.. Just a raise and lower as needed..
All plants had a little dash of RO water and bio root every 2 days up until today.. They had plain water soak today and should be good for 3-4 days.. Few pics of the interior of the tent now..
