I used a 400 watt hps all the way through. Wonder what you will yield using your 1000 watt

well I been told that when you go from 600 to 1000 you about double, and I am going from 432 to 1000, so math wise I should more then double so 9 plus per plant. but realistickly I aint counting on that much. ill be happy with 6.we will know in about 7 weeks.

Very nice, be interesting to see the results...may have to invest in a 1000 watt! Ill be starting some out side in a week or so, just waiting on the over night temps to raise a bit. Starting to hit 70-80 degrees during the day, night temps still 40-50 degrees right now

Xcessive hit it on the nose about everything, we are more like the 1st,vegging 20/0 flower 20/4 .
Transmatic: IMO the 2 gal containers are to small & you should at least use a five gallon to get good yield, these babies take off like a rocket to flowering and the roots are crazy. They grow about seventeen inches. It would be cool for you to stay on this thread! I just may have to do another grow with these babies again !

I'm new here, thank you guys for documenting your grows for us newbies to follow, it is really helpful.

Have you finished any of this product yet? What kind of yield are you talking about? Compared to the three gallon pots? I am just starting out, so if there is a compelling reason to go with 5 gallon I will. I have the room, I'm only going to plant two plants, but do you have any data?

If I get three ounces from each plant, I will be very happy.

I am also wondering about the height of the plant. A 5 gallon smart pot is a lot shorter than a five gallon pail, so will the plants grow considerably higher in the five gallon pail, does anyone know?

jus under 2 ounces for the top 5 buds and plenty to harvest. all from t5. imagine under my 1000 hps!

Are you guys estimating your yield from what you know about what you got, or are you talking about the yield weight at harvest?

The reason I am asking, is because I need to produce about 8 oz of cured finished medicine per grow, so I need to know if I should plant four or just two?

Franklinstein, Welcome to the board.

I believe we have all finished our Fast & Vast grows. I would go with 5 gallon pots of possible. Either way, I think you will be happy with your results. here is kind of a comparison between Hippy's grow and mine.

Hippy - 3 gallon pot/CoCo/ 432 watts T5 lights = I believe he came out with 8 ounces or so of dried finished buds.

Xcessive - 5 gallon pots/CoCo /400 watt HPS light = 9.8 ounces dried finished buds


So as you can tell, your goal of 3 ounces per plant is very easily obtainable with either pot size. As far as height goes... I had one plant that was 35" and the other 39". If i remember correctly the plants in the 3 gallon pot were slightly shorter.

I would go with the 5 gallon pots too. actually I am growing in 5 gallon pots! the 3 gallon pots were what I had and I was just checking out the auto strain so that's what I used.
