New Grower Fabric Pot Nightmares !!

Have you tried them? I've heard about them but not sure if I've seen them in action before.

I'm currently using them and I think a lot of the Kindsoil folks are as well since that's what they (Kindsoil) recommend. I use a small inner diameter air hose to water, so I'm stuck in slow water mode by default and never ran into problems with the regular fabric pots, so haven't run into the issue to say how they help with that. I really think they would just contain and hide the water coming out the side some more than prevent it, though.

I find for me the best method to date for me this far has been to water in small doses until the desired quantity is reached and also by forming a channel / reservoir in the soil.

It's just for busy (lazy :crying:) guys like myself this can be pretty time consuming when there's a couple of full tents to get around.

Good point on hiding it from view. Because it still moves freely through the fabric with or without the liner. But the liner may help with flushing at the end of a grow.

Ever consider a self watering solution like auto pots? I often find myself in the same boat you are in (watering is probably my BIGGEST problem with growing lol.) I know that's not quite what you're looking for NOW, but down the road that could be a viable solution for you if space and budget permits.

I am really tempted to try hempy buckets, I have seen some amazing results recently @Nicker32's hint hint. Other than that I really have thought of all possibilities.

It may be cocoa Growers that really love those fabric pots. Here's my setup.

I wouldn't mind using a self watering deal, that trickle fed a gallon at a time but slowly. Time to build that!

Blumat fed from a gallon jug....done. Just have to hang the jug high enough up to make sure there's enough water pressure on the line. :smoking:

Auto pots are what hempy buckets want to grow up to be........lol!

I've tried every type of pot I could find. I've done DWC. Since I started using auto pots a few months ago, I've ditched all my other pots! My plants have never been bigger or better. And I can go away for a few days or a week and not have to have someone come water ( we all know how well THAT can work out... ). I still use a couple regular pots for soil but I'm mostly done with hand watering, spending time everyday guessing how much water they need, etc.

here's a little male I grew in auto pots...........
