Excellent project, it will be fun doing it and interesting to follow your progress. When you make learning fun you get more out of it.

Nice baffle work, good to see it coming on.

Gonna follow this and see how she does.

Earth worms wont eat your roots.

They will pass soil though themselves and poop it out as "worm castings" which helps nutrient be more freely available.

Plus the mucus that they produce in their gut and which is excreted in their castings work as a moisture retainer , just like in water retaining gels but is totally organic and natural. Not forgetting to mention the wonderful benneficial soil bacteria from theirr guts, worms are power houses of awesomeness for the soil.

Having said all that it is probably a good ideal to rehouse the worm out doors as you root system will fill the pot and life for poor old wormy will get mighty cramped and temps won't be right for him either.

Worm farms are fantastic and will provide you with worm castings (grade A organics) and "Black gold" the juice at the bottom of you worm farm which you can drain off (it needs dilution as it is super concentrated goodness).

It is also a great way to recycle all you veg trimmings and cannabis leaves after you chopped them down.

Search online for Vermiculture which is the art of keeping worms in worm farms.

Have a good grow :)

I agree with Arty. I'm thinking the earthworm would be a plus. After all, people pay for worm castings, and you'd be getting it for free!

All right. The worm can stay for as long as it wants. I'm guessing it'll want to leave as soon as I water the plant for the first time.

What a great start to my week! My Grasscity order arrived after only 4 working days in the mail.

It's called the Jet-Flash Smoke System and it's essentially a Helix knock-off. Although people often claim it's as good, I would've gladly supported Boxfan who invented the the original. However, I couldn't afford the real deal and I really wanted to get in on the -25% discounts.
Can't wait to try it out! :woohoo:

Oooooh, aaaaaaahhh! Tell us all how it smokes!

DazedandSuperConfused thumbs up for you link to making a DIY worm farm :bump:

Wienerwoods Very nice looking bong. Not seen one like this before or the Helix for that matter.

Look so intersting but wan't sure how it worked, so had a quick look on youtube and all became clear.

I like the way it makes the smoke create a vortex (like a whirlwind) in the mouth piece.

Also like the way you can rearrange the various part to make different versions of the bong/pipe.

Have fun trying it out and be sure to let us know your experiences using it and your overall rating.

Thanks for sharing it with us peace and smoke

Well, I just field tested the pipe with the bubbler attachment.

The inhale is super smooth. I didn't have to cough no matter how full I packed my lungs. The taste of the herb was a lot more pronounced and less harsh. The drag is nearly non-existent making it easy to avoid overdoing the hit.

The piece itself has a pretty delicate feel to it. Delicate in that the piece feels fragile but because of that it also has really refined and expensive vibes going on. The joints and overall craftsmanship is great.

The tornado was a bit skinny most of the time but still really cool to watch! And nothing beats the sight of the bubbler filling up with milky smoke.

As for the Afghan Kush Ryder from my first grow I just smoked... I don't know what kind of satanic pickle jar I packed it in but it's something evil. It starts with a really calming head buzz but it turns into a violent rather psychedelic and frightening experience which only lasts a few minutes but after that you're feeling really awesome and glued to your spot for a few hours.

Now, what is really weird is I only packed less than 3 tiny one-hitters. Then again, it's 0,2g of solely calyxes and pistils coated in crystals. :smoke:

Nice report Wienerwoods thanks for taking the time to share it with us.

It certainly sounds like money well spent, although I'm not sure how much it cost.

I does seem like it is something you would keep for your own use or with a trusted friend and not for a party situation where it may get broken far too easily.

Your Afghan Kush Ryder sounds like she got quite a kick, I had heard she could be quite psychedlic but after than will sit your ass down for quite a while, she also has slow build up to tolerance.

Good to hear your enjoying your new bong.

Love your grow box mate. That's some ingenious work there :)
Subbed in, looking forward to watching your progress :)
