I didn't consider refreezing the wash afterwards. But after seeing @Noshit archie gemmill video.
It makes a little more sense to me now.
I plan on using ethanol from my local TSC.
They don't really say the purity on the gallon
I also forgot to mention at the beginning of my post.
The extraction will be used in a salve ( muscle rub).
So this makes for a more forgiving experiment.

Then a long soak would be best for a full ethonal deep wash seeing taste isn't a thing and I'm unsure how other cannabinoids extract so lmk as I'm interested.

I use freezing cold alcohol in a large bucket with a lid cover the zoll and shake the bucket for about 15 min then start straining process then distill the alcohol off again.
