Over the last couple of weeks I've tried popping 16 of the blue cheese auto beans from Experts seeds.

Out of those 16 only 5 popped. I use the paper towel method at about 24 Celcius. Definately an issue with the quality of these seeds.

Just thought I would post up a warning to others. Expert seeds have been running giveaway promotions on Attitude for the last few months trying to flog off their shitty seeds for cheap. Don't touch them!

Have you communicated with them about the poor showing?

Maybe give them a call or email as they may not be aware. I had a problem with Growers Choice and they gave would have sent more if I paid the international shipping. I passed as I didn't want anymore of their seeds. :wall:

Not yet but I guess I should to give them a chance.

I live in Australia and waited 12 weeks for this lot thanks to Covid delays. And if the seeds are that low of a strike rate I don't really want to bother with them again.

The first seedling that had its head up hasn't had any growth at all for the last 3 days so it doesn't look too promising for these genetics. I'm tossing up whether to cull them and run my fast buds cream cookies instead.

I did only pay for 5 and got 11 for free so at least the ones I paid for germinated. My guess is that they are well aware most of them won't pop and that's why they are giving you 11 for free.

Well don't give up on them yet unless you are on a timeline - they may be slow to root and get going - just a thought is all

Who would pay for international shipping for more crappy seeds. If they actually gave a toss they would send them for free

Right? That's how i thunk about Grower's Choice Seeds. I got one out of 6 to germinate. It was a nice plant yet 1 outta 6?
