New Grower Equatorial 2.0

Nothing much to update these days. Battle girls are updated in Battle threads but I'll summarize them a little coming into week 10.

For the battle girls, I am very satisfied as I made sure I did not decrease Megacrop. This will be how I use Megacrop from now on.

Purple is not doing well. My conditions are too humid for an Indica dominant plant and she HAS to be the biggest plant I've grown thus far, by a stretch! Have removed quite some bud rot and some dying branches. My heart aches each time I removed some. It is only until now at around Day 130 that I am feeling a possibility of her not making it to harvest. Will need some skill and luck to bring her to harvest. Too hot, humid and too big a plant is causing her to rot from inside out. DAMMIT...not gonna stop me from trying my best though.

Done and done bro! Have had a fan on her 24/0 for a while now. Removing entire dead branches and rot has helped to open her up. Not to mention her opening up herself with increased weight on buds. I have done what I can given my conditions.

This grow, I've had at least a single bud rot to multiple bud rots on every plant I grew. And none of them are even close to the size of Purple. So i guess its no surprise. Like I said, with a little luck, i hope to at least bring her to harvest. Thanks so much for always dropping by!

Removed many more dead/ rotting Purple to hopefully see her get better. Saved a big cola and an under developed one. I think I saw some white bugs that crushes easily. Lets hope its the last of them.

Would you smoke these colas that I saved?

I would normally think that too. I'm definitely not close to being in drought either. Reason I saved them to dry and smoke later was cos I took an even worse looking cola around 2 weeks ago and it was no less potent than most of my stash. Don't even see much trichs then. The ones i saved had some already. Really wanna see if these are much stronger? Can help me decide which parts to keep moving forward.

Ok...so this is what I did. I smoked some Purple that I dried few days ago this morning and decided I would smoke her whole day. When I come back home, I'll make a decision on what to do with Purple. Kinda let her in on the decision too...

Looks to me like I should cut my losses. Its not like I can't grow anymore or I suck at it. You guys keep telling me I'm pretty good at this LOL and I have enough meds to last me a year or two at least.

All the wasted prime light spots, the electricity, the nutrients and my time. I guess thinking about this hurts the most. Pity really...she would have yielded half a kilo minimum! Just look at this!

Anyone knows how I can turn this into compost, the easiest way?

man thats real bummer dude with the rot, especial on loosing a whole plant. But I wouldn't give up you was killing @Equatorial . I really do mean that, don't put your self down and don't give up over a little set back like this... I've lost plenty to the rot, I even lost my biggest cola to it last year on a monster Blueberry.

just get your air flow sorted and may do some more deflation in the middle of the plant... now you've seen bud rot you should be able to catch as soon as it show its face on future grows. If yo get it early and chop the offending buds off chances are you will get to harvest.

This is one of the reason I don't grow pure / heavy leaning sativa, every time I have the rot takes the biggest cola.

leave it all in black plastic bag in a warm place out side and give it a couple of month it should turn mussy and juicy.
