Broke a branch on her! I knew I was gonna do this eventually cos i do it every grow. Did not expect it to be on my best performing plant thus far.

Pretty bad break but cannot bear to take pics. Hope she recovers well from this.

Sorry to hear about the damage, I have broken and split a lot of plant stems and branches. I use a green "tape" that is like athletic wrap, breathable and sticks to itself and so far have had 100% success in the broken part healing. I can't recall the name but I need to buy more at a garden center, or just get the stuff at the drug store it's probably the same product!

I've never had any proper tape. Usually just what I have lying around that actually does not stick long. But long enough I guess. Last round, I ripped off all broken branches so I did zero saving. My first grow, I saved a badly broken one so I know how it goes. Its that first few days when they look dead that gets to me. Thats why I ripped them all off cos I can't bear to look at that.

The one I broke seems to be healing well without any hitch. Mainly cos I discovered the break early. Just sucks that I can't train that branch. Errm..I actually tried and made it worse so gonna let it be. Lol

Yesterday, I broke another branch! Yes, 2 branches in 2 days! I really gotta get a small stool and stop squatting while I LST. Im not as flexible as I think. I always try to rush through things and my girls suffer.

This is a very good plant though. The sun scorched her. I broke two of her six branches. Removed leaves on Day 25 and today (Day 26), I supercropped her!

Hate that dead look! Should be better in a few days.

Here is how she looks now

One branch I broke was huge and had been just flipped to 12/12, I didn't notice it was broken right away but because it was gonna be big yielding side branch I fixed it. Took about two weeks of not doing anything before it came back to life and started growing to the light. It didn't look dead, but was floppy for a long time. So never give up on fixing and then giving time for it to heal.

Your gals look happy and very vibrant green :d5:

Ok. I suck!

I have officially broken 3 branches out of 6. Thats half of her!

One has healed up 70%. I ripped the second one off cos she broke at end tip. So considered that a very late topping! Third one I think I broke today or could be yesterday. Can't remember. Fixed her up as best I can. Hope it heals quick.

Anyways, she is on Day 29. I really gotta start being more careful with her! Poor girl!

Seedstockers GOTY Update Week 4 - @RivetGrrl

OG Kush at Day 36. Oldest of all 5 plants currently. Already flowering and showing mothballs. I am very impressed with Seedstockers! First of all, I sun burned this plant early on. Then, I broke a branch and made it worse by trying to train it before it heals. Then, I did the same exact thing to another branch!

She seems to be recovering nicely. One more branch snapped wider after I tried to train it. So that one is still in recovery mode. The last plant I stressed so badly finished in 65 days, which was my first ever harvest. I wonder how she will finish?

Her sister Thin Mint Crack at Day 33 in Lighting Battle is doing fabulously too!

Seedstockers GOTY Update Week 5 - @RivetGrrl

OG Kush at Day 43. Despite the harsh treatment from me. She is stable and seem poised for flowering. Of course, I added to her torment this week by heavily defoliating her!

Seedstockers GOTY Update Week 6 - @RivetGrrl

OG Kush at Day 50. Poor girl has most if not all her leaves fried. Can't take the heat and perhaps too much light for her genetics because other plants are doing much better, leaf wise. However, she is flowering nicely so we'll see how she does from here on? I'm just worried that the leaves will give out too soon. But her genetics are strong. I am optimistic. Color is good.

Odd and unfortunate that she was affected by the light so badly, interesting that one can be picky and another not. She should recover, and I'm not sure how legitimate it is, but I have heard that vitamin B1 helps with stress, so I use it at transition times and times of stress.
