Hello All.
New here but been lurking for awhile looking at this DIY thread. Some great Ideas here.

Anyway here is my DIY grow box.
It's 2x3x6 feet. 3 compartments. main grow flower area is 2x3x6 mother plant area is 2x2x4.5 feet.
The 3rd area is for all the electronics(timers, heat pads etc.)
The mother plant area will double as a drying area until I'm brave enough to start with clones.

For lights I have 2 VIPARSPECTRA V600 LED and the whole thing is lined with 2mm mylar.

The exhaust fan is 4-inch carbon filter. Because this box is in my garage, I'll be insulating it for winter and installing a small 250w ceramic heater. An digital temperature controller will maintain the temperature by turning on the heater when needed or turning on the exhaust fan.

The mother plant area will double as a drying area.

Currently I have 3 plants on the grow. 2 Auto flower Northern Lights and one PhotoPeriod white widow. The idea is the Auto flowers should finish just as I flip to 12/12 for the photoperiod plant. gb4.jpg gb5.jpg gb6.jpg gb7.jpg IMG_5004.JPG gb1.jpg gb2.jpg gb3.jpg

Nice build, how is the light leak?

Sent from my comfy chair.

Very nice looking. I made mine 4 foot tall originally and wish I would have gone higher. Its getting harder to find under 2w led lights when the plants get to the top and the 3w and higher lights I have cant be that close. I didn't see your air intakes or light traps?

Air intake right now is some holes in the floor. I'll be insulating and installing a proper intake likely this weekend.

Here is the start of a timelapse I'm putting together. In the box right now are 2 northern lights autos and one white widow photo period. The big one is the white widow

I certainly understand the challenge of both limited vertical growing and a grow box in an unheated garage. Great looking build. You might want to add a couple more slide latches to tighten up the closure of the doors, that will help with smell, light, noise, and security. Great job!

I use add on window latches, they work a treat.
