How do you recommend Maxi GOM?

I mean, Is it what the breeder info says it is? Yours looks nice enough to make me want to try them in my DWC system...

I don't have a way to check ppm though, How much did your meters run you if you don't mind me asking?

Maxi, is great. quite vigorous very Indica looking. She is very sensitive to ph and nutes though. don't go over the high recommendations on bottle for her alone.
She smells of new rubber, sugar, and diesel.
I had to top her because she grew into the light. If I did it over, I would top or FIM all of the branches and stuff. She seems to really beef up because of it. If ya notice how big that main area got when I did.

Is the Maxi considered a Super?
It responded nicely to the Topping not like a regular 1st gen auto would...

I like the idea of FIMing, I usually always top but I can't figure out the Super Cropping though....

Not sure as most "Super" generally mean longer to trigger and finish but still auto and get huge. Maxi auto'd just 2 weeks after the Blueberry x Ak47. She is getting big and could have easily gotten 3 feet + had I not been super-cropping and then finally just had to cut her main top back.

Ok, so Lil bee is getting closer to flush time (clody trichs, browning hairs, age) I'm gonna trim a whole bunch of her fan leaves as most will not be dying or yellowing due to lack of nitrogen (I put a bit of grow nutes in for seed development) or me waiting her to run that long. So, I'm gonna cut most of her fans to where the leaves meet the fan stem and allow the plant to naturally disconnect the leaf stem after it reabsorbs the nutrients in the stem and also to allow for a lower stress rather than cutting at the main stem or branch and rick hurting the plant more than helping.
I'm hoping this will really push for resin production on sugar leaves and puff up the buds. Pics tonight. :)

Any objection please speak now or forever hold your peace. Gotta say I'm going a bit extreme with this technique and haven't tried before, but I got a good feeling.

Well, the fan leaves make the energy that fattens up your buds. I wouldn't cut off a hand sized leaf to let the fingernail sized leaves try to bear the rest of the burden. However, some people trim a few fan leaves and their plants end up fine.

My guess is that the amount of energy a fan leaf produces by not getting chopped will give you more gains than letting some of the smaller bud sites see light.

Be careful GB, Leaving the fan stem after cutting the leaf promotes mold and rot...

I hear ya. I am leaving a few large and a bunch of small, but I'm really going to open up the plant and allow it to maximize. I'm also running DWC so there is plenty of nutrients at the moment so the leaves as storage aren't really need in my OP and there will be plenty of leaf after the fact. actually it may be better to allow the lower leaves to get more light as that is where I need larger buds ATM.

WIll do NC. I'll comb them over for the next week and watch for the fuzzies. Thanks for the head-up.
