22w of cfl per plant? I would try to get 75-100w per plant.

hey dwarf, they look a bit small for 2 weeks+. i would get them under a bit more light and wait till theyre dry(not just at the surface) to water them. more lights will make it dry out more too. the roots need air too so a cycle of wet to dry is best rather than adding a little bit each time or otherwise. the roots can die or work less efficiently if they dont get the dry part of the cycle and this will slow down or eventually kill the plant.
what dubv said too, spay on the leaves with a mister bottle thing. either way id hold off the watering for a few days .

with the plants that size and with that little light unless your temps are very high they wont be losing much water anyway.

what did you mean by gradually increasing an hour each day?

I mean to leave them 1 hour, then 2 hours, 3 hours, etc. To harden off.

Damn, i really believe that those cfl would be enough for two weeks. I'm now thinking on order urgently and HPS 250 w for them.

That HPS is going to give you lots of heat. and you are going to start into the pre flower stretch in a week or so, I would put a few more higher watt CFLs in there and then start to harden them for outside, if that is where you are going to grow them. But I almost would say, even living in Portugal, 20hours of HPS will give you more yield than 12-14hrs of sun, I could be totally wrong, but you can control your environment better indoors.

Yes, it's for outdoor. My biggest concern isn't yield because outdoor i can grow 15-20 and indoor i've space issues.

I was thinking on hps because money issues. While i can get a 250 hps for about 20 euros, each CFL 22 watts cost me 8 euros, and a 105 watts CFL would cost me 45 euros. That's also one of the reasons why i want to grow them outdoor, light is free!

ah i get you now.
if you can sort out some ventilation (i only see the computer fan) then itd be ok with the 250 watt probably but another few cfls would be enough to get them outside anyway with less heat to deal with might be worth the money, what are your temps in portugal?
just if its very hot then itll be hard to cool inside using that hps.
have you looked into t5s? i have some single bulb units theyre just a tube on a ballast and you can chain them together. they work well and i did a whole grow with them getting some decent results. people love them for starting sprouts. you could buy a few of those and theyd be well worth the investment. but if you plan to flower indoors that hps will be better

Right now i just have one fan, it's enough to keep the temp at 23º/24º and to give the plants a few wind. But i can easily add more if i need.
Temps maximum are about 22º/24º and minimum 11º, with the greenhouse i can increase a little the heat.
I've tough on t5s too, but i couldn't find any shop here selling those. I've tried to order a few of them but with the shipping costs and all those stuff they stayed really expensive! If you see the design of this growbox, it was planned for fuos lamps (i was thinking on 4, 5).

Maybe in a month or so i make another growbox and order T5s. Btw, the 22 watts CFL are a little expensive because they're cool white. You think it would be okay to buy a Daylight and mix them? If so, i would easily forget the HPS stuff.
I've cheap CFL daylight but just 11 watts i would have to use 6 or so and it would be hard to put all them horizontal (i've read somewhere that use them vertically waste too many light).

If it pays off, i cold use one of 22 watts cool white at the top of each plant and use a few more CFL daylight.

Well, after reading all this posts and reflecting a lot, i went to the shop and bought more CFL 22 watts. When i came home, i saved all my CFL on my desk but the fucking drawer hasn't the back side and they felt to the floor. Broken in to pieces. Really fuck fuck fuck
Now i don't have lights to support this grow, really shit. I'm gonna try to put them outdoor, otherwise they'll die on the dark :| I'll leave them on the shade for the first days or so.

Tomorrow i'll start building another growbox and i'm gonna order a HPS 400 agrolite to start another grow. At least i've learned a few things with this two plants.
Damn, i'm gonna sell my guitar pedal for this lol. Right now, i'll just get drunk wined and forget all this shit :)

Live and learn,I lost two of my girls awhile back because I had a small heater in the grow and when I knocked it over the thermistat cot moved too high and french fried them Take a deep breath ,relax, and we'll get you a grow sooner or later.

Hey guys, i've got news. I'm keeping my Mohan Ram, she has 15 days after sprouting (is this the way i should age the plant or by the germination?)
The pics of my first post were taken 5 days ago (she had 10 days). Since them, she started to grow really fast i think.

Here's a few pics of Mohan Ram:

What do you think of it? I've offered the +Speed to a friend, but i hope i can keep this baby growing :)

Btw, should i start now feeding she with 0.5 ml biobizz biogrow?

Cheers!
