Dutch Passion Dutch Passion StarRyder under HS1 - First ever grow journal

Looks great. I harvested a StarRyder 3 weeks ago @ 73 days from seedling. I used a 3.8 litre pot and my yield was still 47g dry. Top shelf grow and stone.

Hey man, thanks for dropping by!

That sounds like a great grow, lovely amount from a such a small pot! How tall did she get? I'm really looking forward to trying some. Speaking of which; I'm wondering how long to leave to leave her, two weeks on Saturday will put her at 74, so I'll pencil that in. But I guess if she's not quite there I can leave her a bit longer easy enough.

Boom....

More killer trichome coverage under HS1s. Don't worry about the yellow leaf bro it's common to loose a few of the lower leaves later in the grow.

Beautiful grow and those Trich's do look rich and wonderful. If you have a loop you can use your camera phones lens up against it for some macro! Or if not some close ups with flash. Pretty please! Fascinated by the HS1's effect on Trichomes! Enjoy the rest of your grow I don't think that will be hard! [emoji7]

Thanks man, you right, she's a real pleasure to grow.

I'll get some better macro shots on Thursday, I'll have the real camera back then with it's much better macro mode. Also I keep being tempted by a small microscope camera type thing...

..... So surrender to temptation and pass some tricks around.....

Good to see your lassie is happy to see her HS1 shining brightly again, mind the solar Eclipse on the 20th though....!!!

Sounds like you have a new passion for cultivation, and you have some great looking results to go with the passion.

Dude sorry i havent been around in a awhile. She looks amazing, really healthy and it looks like she did just fine without the HS1 for over a week.

Thanks! I'm really happy with how she's going, lovely structure to her and the buds are starting to look tempting...

Yeah my tendency to get carried away with things is kicking in hard on this grow. I keep asking myself what I could do to make it better, luckily there are still loads of mistakes to fix so there's no risk of me getting bored yet!

No need to apologise, you put in the hard yards at the beginning when she was tiny, a little boring looking and I was even more clueless than now! All much appreciated!

The lack of HS1 seemed to slow up bud production a bit, but she's recovered nicely now. If I was after huge weight I'd mind more, but I don't get through vast amounts so it's more about quality and having a happy plant for me.

Day 62

So I was away for a few days again, but she's got used to being left to her own devices and beyond needing a water and feed there were no ill effects.

Everything is now slowing down a bit, buds still swelling nicely but she seems in a rush to finish, I might ease up on the grow from here on out and see how she goes on bloom and topmax only for a week, then think about flushing.
