Hey AFN crew! Lurkers, ladies, gentlemen, and others......... Just a grow thread for the Dutch Passion Lemon Z photoperiod strain. Watch along if you'd like.

Seeds Arrived!

1-pack.JPG

A big plastic case inside a nicely printed sleeve. The seeds do rattle around in there a lot but I had no visible damage to them and the single one I dropped opened quickly and sprouted without issue.

Tuesday night into a soak, less than 24hrs later a small tail had emerged from the shell

Successful Germination!

Day 1: Sunday November 17th
(It possibly came up on Saturday and I didn't see it)

It got a little spindly as I didn't see it emerge and it was stretching for a light. It's planted in the final home and braced with some toothpicks. I'm certain it will straighten up on it's own. It only took a couple hours for the leaves to point towards the light. Vigorous!

The setup - Grodan rockwool cube on top of a small pot of coco coir. I have a floraflex cap and lines, still sorting out the pump/hose connections so it stops leaking. I presoaked the cube in a 300ppm solution of MegaCrop 1-part with some kelp and pH adjusted to 5.5 and then submerged for ~30min.

Do you have any LST wire? When my seedlings get leggy I make a ring support with that stuff for the plants it works really good. Take a small piece bend it in half making a loop at one end then bend that over 90 degrees. Then wrap around the seedling and stick into ground after a few days you can remove it once they get a sturdy trunk

@420autoflower - New thread. Would love your advice on training at the appropriate time. I'll probably need to give it a few days before I pull the top over.
Great start @Entombed.
The main top should be bent over around day 17.
I’ll be here to help when you need it Brother.

I live!

And so does my plant........

It's a little worse for wear but it had to make-do with some limited attention for a few weeks. It had been getting RO water with MC1 part / epsom salt but once I was injured it got tap water with a "scoop" of MC. It lived but man, I don't know where to start fixing stuff. I can't complain as my helper kept it alive.

So onto the pics. Various issues here and there that I can see but I am not good enough to sort out whats what. I'm just going to keep it on good feed, proper pH and hope some of the new growth looks better. (Which it does!)

Day 70 overall and Day 15 of Flowering time: I was able to handle changing the timer!

As you can see training was a bit off schedule and wonky. By the time I was up to doing anything the two tallest branches were touching the light and it got a little burned on a couple leaves.

Unhappy about something. Too much N? Tips down but it ain't dark as heck overfed lookin either

This new branch way down looks decent! Light on the edges of the leaves though. You can see behind it curled and burned tips and some rusty spots. Clearly a lot going on and not done right. Ah well I'm not a pro, I'm just glad it's not dead!

The whole gangly mangly monster. Well, we shall see how it turns out in the end. Lots of time left.
