earthboxes are super easy to grow in - highly recommend ..... With the EarthBox I just keep the tank full and that’s it, you don’t have a watering schedule - I just fill tank as needed .....With Sam in final stretch that amounted to about 2 gallons of water a day ..... I add EM1 or mammoth P but not as much as directions call for, I just add 1/4 ounce or so per gallon, directions call for a full ounce per - If I added that much I would need gallons of EM1 per grow ....
With a better understanding of the SIP I have changed up soil type opting for a soil with less rocks and more peat

Top dressed with Oly Mountain Fish Compost

As we grow along I’ll add more compost and some comfy leaves that I grew outdoors and in about 10 days I’ll top dress with build-a-flower

Any compost or mulch is throughly wet before adding and I will check top dressing / mulch every so often and spray mist if I feel it’s necessary .....
As for difference between Sam and Brooklyn principals will remain about same ..... Using more store purchased products than before and a different light but everything else fairly equal and most important is size of earthbox - I using an original like with Sam so plenty of medium for plant, size of container does matter - I also have a second brook in a junior so I will be able to kinda gauge difference in size but not exactly as junior will get moved under different light soon.
