Dutch Passion Dutch Passion Brooklyn Sunrise Organic SIP

@TxRebel/Mark hey - hi ..... :pass:

Junior seemed to grow a little faster out of the gate but Bertha within a week started outpacing Junior but Junior started flowering sooner and she is further along - She might make it another few weeks .....
Superior root structure that Bertha has is the key difference.

That’s solid worm castings in next pic and was enough from a single junior to almost fill a 2 gallon bucket! Gonna topdress them since worms are in bucket too so it’ll add some back to my boxes! I’ll also harvest some from bin to make sure I have enough inside!

I also just realized my other damn issue! My stupid ass had been hit the grate and fill tube in on wrong end so it didn’t have those slots by where tube SUPPOSED TO GO so got my tube once had castings in bottom and with tube sitting almost flush on the floor it was being a pain!

Smaller Root Structure but not superior, Junior does a fine job with structure - Think issue for me was too much compost mixed directly into the soil - but to be sure I would need to grow two side by side in different soil mixes - me think me flipped up, not Junior - take a look at @TxRebel/Mark and his Junior Grows and here are a couple of my previous grows in a Junior ..... Lesson learned was “don’t jack up the soil”, especially with AutoFlowers, at least that’s my take.

And here the roots, similar to @TxRebel/Mark ..... Just one grow btw

I was just drawing a logical conclusion stating that Bertha has an advantage due to having a larger resource to draw from and to grow into. I think the Jr is ahead in flowering due to the roots hitting the confines of the smaller box signalling flowering from the ruderalis trait.

Just my thoughts and reasoning and is one of the reasons I want to grow in the bigger pots.

Both looking great!

Look at those big ol' fan leaves!!!! :headbang: :headbang:

Thanks WildBill ....

My thought as well but your 10 gal verses 15 gal should do same with respect to earlier flowering .... My thinking now is: If you have a shorter variety that flowers under 65 days the Junior fits but if longer grow time, go the the Original .....

Ibe been selectively removing leaves to provide more light - penetration is pretty good .... I’ll remove a few more as time goes on but I don’t like removing too many too fast - I know there are different schools of thought on this subject so I tend to do less but just enough, i hope.

Pile is larger now, pic over a day old.

Yeah, I like to only remove leaves for light penitration and for airflow to keep the chance of mold at bay to the best ability possible. Given those parameters for defoliation, more leaves means more and better quality bud in my mind of thinking.

Day 56 and the buds are fatting up nicely and are firm ..... She is getting EM1 and some coconut water to help sweeten up the taste
