Hi Guys, just a quick update before we see this really beautiful plant putting on flowers.

Will be potting up tomorrow and into flower in about a week giving the roots time to grow out..

The Blue Velvets obviously on the left.. getting dwarfed out by the ever faster growing Freddy's Best, very healthy and i only know they will provdie hidden treasures lol

Day 52 - Day 1 12/12

So these girls have ended up being Vegged for way longer than we would have wanted 51 days :twist:..

They look super healthy though.. I can only beg for everyones good wishes in my babies not stretching too much :no::no::no:

The blue velvets can go just about 2 times and I have run a serious LST Session on the Freddy's so they have just about 3 times stretch space but it will be close.. Could do with them not really stretching at all LOL..

This happened as i wasnt paying enough attention after i potted up.. They just seemed to get much bigger much quicker. Ive added an extra pot size and finnished in 15L's this time which also hasnt hellped waiting to root those pots out..

EIther way my girls are on a Terra florres 5ml/L & PowerZyme 2ml/L for the pre-flower and the boost from week 2. Just a quick pic of my gorgeous girls just turned 12/12 (The pics will be just of Blue Velvets from this point):

The Blue Velvet look amazing and if im right ive got 12+ main tops all lined up ready to give my connoisseurial grade velvety soft, sweet nugz..

Hi Don,

I dont really follow what you mean to be honest.

They are different strains entirely.. Bred from one of the same parents (Blue gene) but for entirely different phenos.. The result is two plants almost as different as any other.. Blueberry smells of blueberry and has a very unique taste and stone.. I'll let you know what the Blue Velvet taste like when its done

Also worth mentioning there are multiple various of these genes with different mothers or farthers with different effects.. DP have some of the most unique: Flo, Blueberry, Blue Velvet and Blue Moonshine.. All very different if done properly.. In addition where the genes came from DJ Shorts, he has reworked the genes since and has another 4-5 variations again..

Hi you roudy lot ,

So back to see how the fruity Blue Velvets are doing i hope.. Very well i feel is the answer, I still have the dark lush colours associated with flavoursome indicas

They havent stretched much which is what i was hoping for, still a bit more to go and the tops havent pushed their first calyxes which i find strange as the Freddy's have. Cant be far off though..

Day 68 - Day 17 12/12

Hiya chaps,

I hope all your weeks have been going well. Not much to report..

My Blue Velvets are still looking nice and healthy minus some paleing on a few of the tops leaves.. Bit close to the light and now she is in flower I recon some of leaves nutreints are being used to porduce flowers as well as the solution in the soil..

Recon now the PH'ed feed will be sorting that out shortly.. Bit of lock out i recon as they have been very healthy up till now + a bit of mistake I feel has led to waterlogging which I recon has caused some problems..

At least I can see from others that the Blue Velvet wont stretch much more now..:
