mrsparkles-albums-misc-photoperiod-picture163812-dp.jpg

First a big thanks to Tony for the seeds and for guiding me over the last year. I only hope i can continue to share the Passion in 2013 and onwards.

I havent had a right-up of these seeds but from what ive heard they are DJ-Shorts work or at least related to so rightup of the Blue Velvet genetics.

-

Blue Velvet is a "leggy" half sativa - half indica cross, named for her lush appearance. Due to the lineage, this variety has also been known as Blueberry Thai. The Long branches sport lavender-red leaves and the buds have a trademark "fox tail" appearance. The calyxes are large and striped.

Very enjoyable to the nose and palate, Blue Velvet's fragrance and flavor border between fruity and floral. Expect an uplifting and euphoric experience with this variety. The buzz gives both a head and body sensation, making it good for daytime use, socializing with friends, or for creative solitary ventures.

From what ive read these girls should flower in 8 weeks or less and are a 50/50 Sativa/Indica with Afgan and those all famous colour Thia genetics.

That may be wrong as this may have changed . We shal see..

Plan:

The plan is to Top between 3-4 node, then LST, then Top 6-7 Node and then LST pre-flower if needed. So 4 main Tops do reduce chances of mold/rot, hopefuly flip them at day 40-50 veg if they are healthy.

Seed:

I have had to pop 4 seeds to get the 2 risers this time.. First ever DP seeds that havent popped.. But the temps in my room have fluxed in the cold of winter so this is probably a factor.

Day 10 Veg - Day 4 Veg:

As with the other two Freddy's Best in the GRoom, I havent done my best work with these juniors so far but i should have plenty of time to get them back to 100% health.

The second seed has also rised and is on its way. Pics below stay tuned for what i hope will be one of my favourites..

Hey dude,

Thanks and i cant wait to see what she turns out like either.

As for the strain i think i better make something clear before i make a mistake. I am testing a strain called Blue Velvet.. Officially thats all I know, I used a strain library to find where the genetics oridginally came from (DJ Short) but i cant say anything to the genetics of what i actually have or whether the seeds ive popped will be on the market.

I hope so though .

Appologies to Tony if i did get my facts wrong as I was kinda very stoned and excited about this new diary lol:grat:

Thanks guys and on with the important part - the budz :)

Cheers dude,

I think they are all Fem's, I would preffer to have regs at this point so I could continue genetics I found somthing really nice. But my area is nowhere near the size i would need to start Breeding so its fem all the way.

Besides still got some (alot) learning to do - :toke:
