Grow Mediums Duckster's 2nd DWC

:crying: There are some things that I like about the mud. Some control of the size with pot size. The natural buffer action of soil. Relatively stable pH. But I had the hydro stuff so I had to give it a go. Found a few things that I liked about hydro too. I like watching the explosive root growth once that first little root hits the water in the reservoir. Seems like less work to me. Last time, one of my sour cracks gave me almost 8oz, the other one only about 2.5oz. But over 10oz for 2 plants was not a bad haul. I had to try it again to see if I can get similar results. You should give it a go sometime.

I will one day or some hybrid of the two, drop a mesphito bean in a small pot and join the Mephisto battle, ya know you want too, it can hang from a cord don't tell me there's no room lol,

the mix is bloom I did a res change today. The cheese is looking hungry so I switched over to a bloom mix of 2ml/l grow, micro, bloom with 1 ml/l of B-52, RhinoSkin, Carboload, Bigbud, Senizym, Voodoo Juice, .75 ml/l CalMag, and .5 ml/l SM-90. Res temps at 79F, pH 5.7, and EC at 640.

The Walter White has almost caught up height wise. She is 30 days and 17". Stretching out she is a bit on the airy side.

The cheese is 42 days with the top bits at 20". I have been holding her back with a lot of bondage and super cropping. I did get a bit overzealous on some of the super cropping. I have also been trimming out the big fan leaves from her canopy but I have not really made a dent. She is a bushy beast.

Oh yeah you know I want to but I'm afraid there is no room at the inn. Well maybe a shot glass but that would hardly be worth the waste of a Mephisto bean.

Ha Ha I'm hoping that mess will turn into a beautiful carpet of frosty dense nugs. Can't blame a guy for dreaming

Lookin awesome Duck. Got me a cheese xxl on order buddy. Heres some rep pal!!

Don't know what they will do in soil but the cheese xxl has gone nuts in hydro. Would love to see what the fim man can do with this strain. Better plan to let her have half your tent and she will still want more. I'm thinking that maybe I should have let the cheese be an only child. I feel sorry for the walter white, she has to fight for every bit of space and light she can get.

Many thanks for the slap

The RO system arrived. Installation wasn't too bad considering I feckin hate working under the sink! It has a 4 gal pressurized tank. I have pretty good water pressure so the tank holds about 3.5 gal when it's full. I dumped the first 2 tanks down the drain per the instructions. I started collecting water for tomorrows res change this morning. It takes 5-10 minutes to pull 3 gal from the tank. Then it takes 2-3hrs to fill the tank. It took me less than 10hrs to get 12 gal. Not sure if this is fast or slow, but plenty fast enough for my needs.
